Pretty much as the subject implies, I have literally based this whole Oblivion play through on getting Nevershatter once I hit level 30, I reached the level this morning and went to get the hammer from syl, I did the quest, murdered her in the pools of mania and dementia but when I went to grab the weapon I have been waiting so long for it was leveled to its 1-4 version which pretty much ruins everything haha, if anyone knows why or knows a way that I can fix this from a previous save I would be forever in your debt.

What platform are you playing on?

First you have to open the console using the tilde key (~), then click on your character and type the following code:

additem 0007E09D 1

This will get you the 30+ version.

It is a known problem that certain items in the SI expansion don't level with your character properly. This issue can be avoided by not installing the DLC until your character is at a level that receives the best equipment. However, if you are on PC you can do what Rook suggested.

I'm currently playing on Xbox so I can't use console commands, however do you think uninstalling the DLC file then reinstalling it might help?

It would work, but you would probably have to start over on SI.

Alright that's what I figured, it's a great weapon but now that it's useless to me it kind of gives me more incentive to frame it in my house anyway, plus I can probably make something stronger from the enchanter. Thanks to everyone that commented!
