So, as we all know, ESO is now B2P, meaning many new and newly returning players recently joined or will be joining our game's community. It is in my best interests that this community stays as friendly and positive as it has been. Therefore, I am making the following offer:
Help 10 newbies or low level returning players and get 10 thousand gold!
It's pretty simple. If you tell me you've helped 10 people, I will send you the gold. It is entirely up to you to be honest about this. I don't care if your motivations for helping were the gold or just a sense of kindness. Even if you would have helped 50 people anyway, just send me a message and allow me to reward you for your good deeds.
Rules: You must be a member of the NA UESP in-game guild. Your help must be significant enough that the recipient comes out of it impressed by how friendly and helpful you were. Personalized interaction is key.
These count as good help: Giving fairly descriptive build advice Explaining some non-intuitive game mechanics Crafting a new weapon for a player based on the build they're going for Giving somebody high quality food or drink based on their level and stat preferences Explaining how guild vendors work and inviting the player to a trade guild Asking a RPer about their character and giving them commoner clothing or a piece of armor that matches the look they're going for Helping the player solve a non-trivial problem Suggesting a guild and finding somebody to invite them to said guild based on the player's needs and preferences
These are not enough: Giving a single line answer to a common question, like "Where is the bank in this zone?" Gifting gold, in any amount. It's lazy and impersonal. And yes, I realize the hypocrisy of that statement given what I'm doing. Giving people random junk that they probably won't use Sending people things without any actual communication beforehand
