any easier way to do it than editing registry?

i've found this to be patch that fixes this issue: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8854#c80
however, i am not sure where to put it. in source code?

i want to move arroudn a few keys to the way like i have them on windows.

BTW long time no post. 2 reasons - 1. haven't managed to play Skyrim yet or Shivering isles and 2 these excelent pages were blocked at place where i work.
