I just figured since that guy in Balmora doesn't disappear, that I'd stuff my alchemical stuff into the mage guy at Mournhold but that guy did disappear. For some reason no one ever mentioned that only essential bodies don't go away until I looked why the mage disappeared, when everybody was saying the Balmora body is just so perfect. At least I didn't have many ingredients on the mage. I'm not reverting the save 'cause I did lots, but I'm wondering if a command can make future prospective corpses permanent. Also, I figure once I finish up whatever quest the Balmora fellow is tied to, he'll go poof too.

I think you want to check here for a list of permacorpses:
https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Permanent_CorpsesIt says you cannot use a console-command to make corpse permanent... but what about using "placeatpc" command to set a copy of one of the known permacorpses in your home? I haven't tried that. It is possible that the copy won't have the correct flag set, but worth a shot.
Otherwise, find one of the living permacorpses and command them to your home before murdering them. haha!

So according to that, I could pull in two Vivecs and three Dagoth Urs into my abode? That'd be like a genuine seventh or eighth House notwithstanding the necromantic heresy all over that proposition.

Mournhold is where I discovered the bodies disappearing thing. It's so sad. I missed the High Ordinator lewt in Golena's house. I suppose I just have to rp that the proper authorities picked it up. My dude would kind-of care about that. I also got to meet Almalexia which was really cool.
