"Get up, Salarian before i decide you're resisting arrest." Churkan ordered the Salarian merc after Ignis deferred to the spectre's authority. "And she will join my show, The Churkan kills the Asari by blasting her in half with his shotgun show. It's a working title but everyone will enjoy the end results." He told those nearby before making sure that the Salarian would come with them, even if he had to use his biotics to do so.

"But I'm already up! I'm coming, see!" Cehan cried, walking swiftly in front of Churkan with his arms outstretched to their full height, "And s-stop talking about killing people, p-p-please."

He breathed an inward sigh. If the Turian Spectre was overseeing his arrest, there was nothing Veollma could do. And even if there was, she probably wouldn't risk it just for him.

"Then get walking, Eclipse." Churkan ordered the Salarian and followed him to make sure he didn't try anything.

"But I'm already walking!" Cehan protested but nevertheless obeyed, picking up the pace and continuing to follow Tharen. However, a rare wave of bravery (stupidity?) briefly washed over him, "And I have a name, C-Sec."

Hard gained +2 Renegade.

"Mind your place, officer." Tharen warned. "He's not a threat to anyone right now."

"And it will be splattered all over the ground if you try anything." Churkan informed the Salarian. "And that's is how it will remain, Spectre. The moment he tries something is the moment i get to split him into two." He told Tharen whilst making sure the Eclipse merc was still walking.

"Yeah okay great. Wake up, C-Sec, I said you have a Drell here who needs to go into surgery!" Broktar roared at the officers who didn't seem to hear him.

He stood back up and approached the Turian. "I'll hear what you have to say, Spectre, but don't think for a moment I trust you or any of these others, despite their efforts or your own. You or any of us could have had a hand in this. Spectres attract trouble, or start it themselves." He thought for a moment. "So do I, come to think of it."

Broktar looked at the C-Sec and the Salarian. "Guilty or not, this Salarian's got a quad. Plus brains. Which makes him more than you, C-Sec. You're not beyond suspicion either, because I don't care what your pauldrons say."

He had another afterthought. "Besides, didn't you JUST say you vouch for the Salarian? That crash must have caused you brain hemorrhaging."

"Please don't." Cehan croaked, all semblance of a backbone melting out of his demeanor. He carried on walking with his head held down and his arms reaching towards the artificial sky.

"Salarians have no quads. They fight their wars using cowardly methods and i don't give a pyjak's ass what you think." Churkan informed the Krogan whilst continuing to escort the Salarian. "But know this, citizen, i will find Aria and i will show her the wrath of C-sec."

Citadel - Dilinaga Concert Hall

Ignis nodded and tapped on his comm. "Station, I need two shuttles here. One to take an injured civilian to Huerta Memorial, one to take a Spectre, an officer, and four other civilians back to C-Sec. Give them an interrogation room and some space to talk." he commanded. After hanging up, he looked at Officer Churkan disappointingly. "And this, officer, is not how we treat people of suspect who aren't under arrest. You will answer to the Spectre's judgment here, or so help me..."

Tharen looked to Broktar and nodded. "I understand. Were I in your position, I'd suspect anyone. You have my word, whatever that may mean to you, that I took no part in this. I'll explain more when we get to C-Sec."

"I told you I don't work for Aria." Cehan objected exasperatedly, "And if you're trying to insult the Salarian military, or so help me the STG, I'll... I'll... Never mind."

"Sorry, Sir." Churkan half heartly apologised to Ignis. "I believe you but your kind always come here on illegal business and i always have to write up a report to explain why the floor is covered in their guts." He told the Salarian.

"My kind? Guts? Floor? COVERED?" Cehan shouted with terror in every note, "You're a psychopath!"

"Not your guts. Eclipse guts after refusing to drop their weapons." Churkan stated to the Salarian.

"Everyone's got a quad", Broktar said, looking in the direction of the Salarian. "In the case of those who don't know it, look down inside yourself and you'll see it."

He looked directly at "C-Sec". "But I guess not everyone was born with a brain."

Broktar turned to Tharen. "Doesn't mean much, sorry. People give their word--Krogan, Salarian, Turian, doesn't matter--pretty words can hide betrayal of tradition and honor, genocide, or cooperation with a genocidal race of machines." He shrugged. "Doesn't matter though. Just because I don't trust any of you doesn't mean I'm not willing to listen and consider. Let's go."

"And now you believe him again." Broktar sighed. "If half our population are as dumb as you, we'll be extinct within a decade. Let's just get the hell back to your headquarters."

"Alright, everyone just shut up and let's go." Broktar growled, growing in irritation. "I'm going to just kill us all in a singularity, compact all the stupidity into one tiny space before it's destroyed to the joy of a grateful galaxy." He shook his shoulder plates angrily. "To C-Sec HQ! " He started at a jogging pace, despite his injuries.

"Anxiously: Okay, I will go with you and answer your questions. But I had nothing to do with what happened." said Calor. Calor was somewhat nervious that he would be wrongfully blamed for a crime he didn't commit. While the Blasto films were highly enjoyable, real life Spectres were somewhat terrifying with their lack of oversight. He knew the Spectre could kill or torture him and nobody would ever ask any questions.

It didn't take long for the two shuttles to arrive. The drell was carried away to the nearby hospital while those involved in the crash were carted to the local headquarters of C-Sec on Tayseri ward. Once there, they were escorted to an interrogation room, along with the Turian spectre they met earlier. Broktar was patched up by concerned medics once inside the headquarters.

Inside were a number of chairs, and a table with a few bowls of assorted complimentary confections, each labeled by species to prevent poisoning.

"I apologize for the incident you've all suffered. They've only just suspended shuttle operations on the wards in response to the attacks, but it's only a matter of time before something else happens, I wager." Tharen explained as he looked over something on his omni-tool. "Again, good morning. My name's and I'm with the Spectres. I was on the shuttle on a hunch... turns out I was right. Before I start talking in detail, do any of you have any questions?"

"Wait, if you thought that Aria was going to strike, why didn't you order a check of the shuttle?" Cehan asked, "You're a Spectre, you can do that, right?"

"If I get a bunch of C-Sec officers going to check on every shuttle on the Citadel, nothing would stop the perpetrator from remotely detonating them and taking out some officers." Tharen reasoned. "And I didn't know, I suspected. This is the first we've heard of Aria's people being behind this. We suspected, but... Well, we know now."

Broktar didn't go out of his way to ask for medical aid, but he wasn't about to stop them if they felt the need. He did have a question for them, though. "My medi-gel stores could use topping off. Have any to spare?"

He did have a question for the Spectre, too. "Have any Ryncol?"

"But people would have died either way, at least the officers would have some choice in the matter." Cehan protested, "What raised your suspicions in the first place? Did you have any evidence?"

Tharen chuckled. "No, no ryncol, not here, I'm sorry. But perhaps later, we'll see."

In response to Cehan, he nodded and produced a holo-image from his omni-tool. It was of an unidentified garden planet with red, blue, and yellow ships in orbit. "This is Freya, a human colony in the Attican Traverse. Terminus forces hit it earlier this month. Officially this isn't Council jurisdiction and thus none of us in the Spectres were given clearance to investigate just how far the occupation has gone. But I've dealt with Terminus forces pushing their territory in the past. They'll keep going."

"The Attican Traverse is always getting hit by pirates coming from the Terminus system. This isn't the first time something like this has happened." Cehan frowned, "What makes you think this is so different?"

"Because they're not pirating the planet's trade. They're occupying it. Pushing the residents out." Tharen replied.
