where do I get them? i cant find many good places to buy spells and if i find someone they have like level 30 destruction spells. im like 72 getting ready to hit 80 and go expert and i want some BA spells to own people with. anyone know where i can buy these? thanks

So far, the UESPWiki Skyrim: Spell Merchants page only lists Farengar Secret-Fire as a spell merchant. Sorry.

It's early days for Skyrim, and in some ways these are the golden days. Outside of buying a Players Guide, it looks like gamers have to find a lot of things out for themselves instead of harvesting easy answers earned from other peoples' experience.

I just started a new character and havent been back yet, but I think in the apothecary in the College, there is an orc that sells books, I have to assume there are some spells.

I got to buy some powerfull destruction spells from a mage in Marcarth. He lives in the same building as the Jarl, but you have to turn left after you've entered. I found him because I had to deliver something to him (small quest at City Gate).

From what I saw atleast ulfrics mage has every destruction spell till 50, as I am only 64 I can't say if he have the expert spells to but for everything below expert he is the man for sure.

Is Ulfrec in Windhelm?

At the college of Winterhold, there is a spell tome selling mage for each school of magic. The spells they sell level up with you. i.e. Level 72 characters can buy level 50 spells. Level 75 characters can buy level 75 spells. Of any school, you just need to get into the college and find the right person.

But be warned if you progress far enough in their quests every trainer/merchant in the college want speak to you normaly till you killed , this is annoying...
