I didn't want to post this in the stickied "funny glitches" thread.. so I figured I'd make it it's own topic. Is anyone else experiencing bizarre lighting transitions?

I'm on PS3, and I'm noticing that when I'm looking at something bright, say the sky in the day time, then I look back down to ground level, anything that is in the shadows is really dark and takes a second to get to the shade they're supposed to be. I thought it was my TV at first, but none of my settings have been changed.

Anyone else experience this?

I haven't experienced it. It's probably just the console's age failing to catch up with modern games and is not a glitch.

That's HDR lighting it simulates the half second or so it takes to focus when you go from looking at something bright and back to something not so bright.

Do you have HDMI? I've noticed that when I'm using my HD TV to play games, it sucks when I only have AV cables. Get HDMI and the graphics should look much better in general.

Cool. I just really wanted to make sure I wasnt experiencing something odd. Is not really distracting or anything, just noticing it for the first time, probably, because the visuals in Skyrim are so amazing, I'm purposely looking at every minute detail.

Oh, and from above, I am on HDMI.
