There are so many topics on what you are doing first when you get the game, I want to know what people are doing a day before the release! I will be sleeping until about 4-5pm, doing a little work, eating at my favorite restaurant, dusting out my computer, cleaning my monitor, turning off my computer until I leave to go get the game (let it rest for awhile, make it run a bit faster maybe ). What else are people doing to prepare?

I am going to go to school and try not to think about it.

Checking my Amazon account on the hour to see if the danged thing is being prepared for shipment, (As of this moment, no activity, and it's scheduled to arrive tomorrow.), trying to do some domestic crap, playing Oblivion, and trying to curb my impatience.

*twitches*

And hoping the local big-box store has the strategy guide tomorrow, or I'll have to wait until Monday to order it from Amazon.

Busy tidying up my bedroom for people coming to stay on Saturday, which means that if game arrives Saturday, I won't be able to play for longer than a couple of hours until Sunday afternoon.

Playing City of Heroes*I finally got it to completely install*

Mmmm school, asin atm, then go home play oblivion for the lasttime this year, then around 10 going to my gamestop to grab my copy at midnight release

The last hours of Morrowind, some Internet, sleep and school are on my to-do list.

I won't be able to play in 2 days since some stuff I've ordered (pretty important stuff like a MFin computer to play it on...) is delivered slower than... something really slow. And I had my whole night planned out...

Drowning my sorrows in ten ton of wine, longing for that which I can not have...

i bought the game today (im from scotland) thought i would just try instaling ot to see if it worked.....

The elder scrollsV: skyrim can't be installed yet, becasue it's not yet released god dam! need to wait 8 hours i have it in my hand god DAM!

I'll try to get Steam working (sounds easy I know but my computers have exploded for less), work, then I'll rush home and pray to the flying spaghetti monster that it'll work.

Depends on how the day goes.. plans could change, but so far they are:

1. Finish work around 6pm
2. Go home to feed cat, buy some groceries, have dinner with wife.
3. Head out around 7:30pm/8:00pm to hit up the mall, as my wife has some stuff she needs to pick up at Sephora *shudder*
4. Possibly see a movie to kill time.
5. Hit the Gamestop lineup around 11/1130. Hoping that it's not huge and that I don't have to be there any earlier. We have a ton of Gamestops in Downtown Toronto so I can't see EVERYONE going to the same one for this release, and I know at least 4 of them are doing midnight launches, as well as some other game shops in town.
6. 12:01am (if I'm lucky enough that the line moves that fast) grab my CE and catch a cab back to my place!

I logged in JUST to say this,

Since there's a football game today at my high school, and that I'm in the band, I have to go to that :/ and even though I COULD go to a midnight release I would be too tired to go xD besides, I don't think the mall will be open for a release.

Breakfast, a little running on the treadmill, shave, shower, tidy up my gaming room, ambush the UPS driver.

Reading a book. Get my mind off of it and learn something.

School then immediately heading to the mall to pick up epic goodness aka Skyrim
