I have installed DOSBox, but I am having a hard time understanding how it works. Can I get some help?

I never had much luck getting Dosbox and Daggerfall to work well together, but just a couple of days ago I downloaded DaggerfallSetup, and it installed smoothly and runs perfectly. Haven't had to tweek anything.

There's some work arounds like deadfong said, but I have no problem starting Daggerfall directly from DOSBox. On the official Bethesda download, there's a PDF that gives you instructions that are very straightforward.

If you're using a virtual disk, like with the download, then you'll have to mount that in DOSBox through a series of commands. I extracted the files to a folder C: dosgames, as recommended in Beth's PDF, and it works swimmingly. Granted, there's a few lines worth to enter each time, but it's not very difficult at all.

If you download Daggerfall from , follow the steps in the .pdf Installation Manual.
No issues arise.
