Welcome[edit]

Hello VycDarkshadow! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

  • Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! --Kitkat TalkContribE-mail 20:42, 4 January 2012 (UTC)

Altering Others' Comments[edit]

Hello. I notice that you have been editing the grammar on this page. While your grammar is correct, this is a talk page, and thus it is not acceptable to alter what others have typed. It's okay on articles, but not talk pages. I ask that you please do not do it again. --Velyanthe 22:49, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

I only fixed posts that were so filled with errors that reading them was actually difficult. However, i will heed your warning, and leave talk pages alone. Vyc Ðarkshådøw 00:41, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
I could understand if it was just that, but you were editing them for tiny things that would not have been difficult--changing "produspire" to "Proudspire", adding commas where they were not necessarily needed, etc. Most, if not all, of the comments that you edited were easily readable. But thank you for listening. --Velyanthe 00:54, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
I deleted my comment on your page, since you answered it on here. Wasn't 100% certain if it'd show up on your end or not, but now that i know it does, i have no need to post the same thing in 2 different locations. Vyc Ðarkshådøw 00:59, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
In general it is not advised to post a conversation in multiple places unless you don't get a reply. It doesn't give the "new messages" notification, but I have this page on my watchlist and I patrol the recent changes, so I see the update anyway. --Velyanthe 01:01, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
Agreed, and understood. Vyc Ðarkshådøw 01:03, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
