Welcome!![edit]

Hello Vicano! Welcome to UESPWiki! It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you would like to spice up your userpage, click here for a list of userboxes you can use, including a guide to making your own.

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! Jeancey (talk) 11:40, 31 July 2013 (GMT)

Bug Template[edit]

Hiya Vicano! I noticed a few times that you have added bugs to articles with the confirmed=1 parameter at the end of the template. Generally, you should always use vn=1 instead if you are adding a new bug yourself, even if you can confirm it from your own gameplay and/or game data. This is so that there is always at least two different editors confirming a bug before it is marked as confirmed on the wiki. Please keep this in mind in the future. Thanks! Happy editing! :) — ABCface 21:35, 6 August 2013 (GMT)

Edit Summaries[edit]

Hey again, Vicano! As a courtesy to other editors, please remember to leave edit summaries when making changes to a page (especially when removing information). This helps to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, so that others can have a better understanding of what you are trying to do. Thanks! — ABCface 19:01, 21 August 2013 (GMT)

Fura Bloodmouth Dialogue Condition[edit]

Can you explain where you got the condition of not being a vampire is from. I would like to verify that dialogue. Guard of DragonsSpeak To Me 20:07, 25 August 2013 (GMT)

Answering remarks on your talk page[edit]

I see you chose to answer the question from Dragon Guard on the user's own talk page. It is not necessary to move the discussion, as anyone posting a question or remark to you on your talk page will be expected to observe it for answers from you or others. It is even greatly encouraged to keep the discussion in one place to make it easier for others to follow. —MortenOSlash (talk) 05:03, 26 August 2013 (GMT)

Calling your attention to a question.[edit]

You might know the answer to this one: Skyrim talk:Thane#Retaking holds after Season Unending. Well I hope someone does anyway :) --Morrolan (talk) 01:31, 10 September 2013 (GMT)

Voice Actor Additions[edit]

Hey, Vincano. You recently added some voice roles to the voice actors page. We're trying to keep a close watch on that page so that people don't add speculation, so may I ask where you got those roles from? --AN|L (talk) 15:14, 9 June 2014 (GMT)

Modhna has the same voice type (DLC1FemaleVampire) as the generic female vampires added by Dawnguard. As for Katria, I just remembered her sounding exactly the same as other characters voiced by Colleen Delany, although having gone back and checked, I see she actually has a unique voice type, so I could see why that's considered speculative. Vicano (talk) 16:19, 9 June 2014 (GMT)
Ok, thanks for clearing that up. --AN|L (talk) 17:54, 9 June 2014 (GMT)

Sanuarach Mine[edit]

You added a note sometime ago, that stated "Some NPCs will erroneously refer to it as Sauranach Mine". Unfortunately this has been removed (not by me) stating once isn't noteworthy, could you advise which NPC's refer to it as this and whether it is a constant thing or just a one-off, in order to be able to undo this deletion. Thanks in advance. Biffa (talk) 00:50, 20 June 2014 (GMT)

The only person to refer to the mine as Sauranach is Belchimac. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 00:54, 20 June 2014 (GMT)
If you knew that then why didn't you just correct the note to reflect this? Biffa (talk) 01:00, 20 June 2014 (GMT)
I'd say it's only noteworthy on Belchimac's page. It just doesn't have any major relevance on the Sanuarach Mine page. Yes, I know it's about a misspelling of the name, but it's not a bug of the location, it's a bug of Belchimac. •WoahBro►talk 01:04, 20 June 2014 (GMT)
It was shown on the place page as a note stating that "some NPC's will erroneously refer to it....", not as a bug and the removal showed (once isn't notable), I had no knowledge of this issue, so didn't know whether it was just a single person, or a single mis-spoken line of dialog or if the person who posted it had more info That was all. Biffa (talk) 09:49, 20 June 2014 (GMT)

Spambots[edit]

Hey there, just wanted to let you know that spambots (the ones who type literal nonsense like "yetwkjHTs" or advertise various pills or services) don't get warnings, they just need a straight up block. Warning them will do nothing since they're bots and won't even pay attention! What you should do in this situation is to remove whatever the spambot wrote. If they created a new page with it, remove everything and type {{Speed|Spam}} so the page can be deleted. And on a related note, make sure that warnings get a section header like every other talk page section :) •WoahBro►talk 12:27, 26 August 2014 (GMT)

Yeah...I really shouldn't edit when I'm half asleep... Vicano (talk) 12:49, 27 August 2014 (GMT)

Guard Dialogue Bug[edit]

Hi Vicano, I noticed you made this anonymous edit. I do not see the Riften guards referring to Fort Dawnguard as being "near Riften" as a bug. It's still true from where they're standing that it's near Riften, so it isn't an error on the game's part for them to say this. Although it'd make more sense if they would give you better directions, as you are in Riften, it still isn't wrong for them to say it's just near Riften. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 22:44, 28 September 2014 (GMT)

Wasn't sure if it was a bug myself, still sounds jarring to hear them call it "the old fort near Riften" when they're in Riften. And I was on my phone. Vicano (talk) 15:18, 29 September 2014 (GMT)

Removing VNs[edit]

In regards to this edit, when you remove a {{vn}} tag, it's helpful if you include an explanation of how you verified the information. If it's something simple like checking the CK, the edit summary is a good place to state that, otherwise you could post on the talk page with an explanation. This helps other editors know that the verification was actually done, and that the template wasn't just removed without cause. Thanks! -- Hargrimm(T) 15:24, 28 January 2015 (GMT)

Edit Summaries (2)[edit]

Hey Vicano! I just wanted to remind you to please leave edit summaries when editing a page. It helps others to better understand the changes you have made to a particular article. It also makes it easier to navigate through the page history log. Thanks!  ~Shuryard (talk) 22:31, 31 May 2015 (UTC)

It would be really helpful if you summarized your edits. For instance, I am wondering about this one. Did you observe this, did you get it from the bug report or from CK? If you briefly explained it in the summary, I'm sure all the patrollers would greatly appreciate it :)  ~Shuryard (talk) 17:22, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
I'd always thought the bedroll in the cellar was Sifnar's, since he works down there, and I'm pretty sure the steward's bedroom is upstairs, or at least the stewards own a bed upstairs. Vicano (talk) 17:24, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
Let me try and check in CK who it belongs to, if it is owned at all.  ~Shuryard (talk) 17:50, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
Ok, I'm clearly missing something. I've started a new discussion here, if you're interested.  ~Shuryard (talk) 22:42, 27 June 2015 (UTC)

User Page[edit]

Trying to go for the user record of edits made without creating a user page? You're only about 400 away for it. Of course, it's perfectly fine if you want to go forward without a user page, I'm just curious. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 18:13, 27 June 2015 (UTC)

Season Unending[edit]

While many lines were recorded, AFAIK in-game there's only the one at Karthwasten that ever happens. This is actually mentioned in the article, under the "Scoring System Details" section. --Gez (talk) 20:57, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
