Hello![edit]

Hello Unclejack! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

  • Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! --AKB Talk Cont Mail 19:23, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

Advice[edit]

Welcome back to UESPWiki! You seem to have been making multiple edits to a page by not using the show preview button, clogging up the Recent Changes in the process. We appreciate your enthusiasm, but keep in mind that each edit needs to be patrolled, so multiple consecutive edits create an unnecessary hassle on those who patrol. So please utilize this feature! You may also want to look over our style guide and Getting Started guide. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 00:43, 29 June 2013 (GMT)

Hiya Unclejack! I know you've been working hard on trying to get some leveling information figured out, but I'd just like to remind you to use the show preview button, since it will help to keep from clogging up the Recent Changes page, as well as keeping the page history cleaner. Each edit you make needs to be patrolled, so try to keep this in mind when editing. You can keep the same window or tab open and use the "show preview" button as many times as you need to before hitting "save" so it's rather convenient and helpful. Thanks! :) — ABCface 01:13, 3 July 2013 (GMT)
Will keep it in mind from now, I tend to edit as much as possible because I write most things on the go without a major plan :(. I always edit it afterwards without thinking and I can't stand errors that are not corrected lol. But yes I should use the preview button a lot more, will do that in the future! — Unsigned comment by Unclejack (talkcontribs) at 01:22 on 3 July 2013
I completely understand, and it's not a huge deal, but it's definitely helpful and a good thing to keep in mind. Anyway, it was just a friendly reminder, thanks for your work on trying to figure this stuff out! — ABCface 02:31, 3 July 2013 (GMT)

Sandboxes[edit]

Hello Unclejack, it seems that you are creating a page for Skyrim:Unarmed Combat here. We appreciate the gathering of content before the posting of an article, but talk pages are used for other users to leave messages for you. If working on a page, please consider creating a sandbox page (for example User:Unclejack/Sandbox) instead of working on a talk page. -- SarthesArai Talk 13:10, 29 June 2013 (GMT)
