A heads up[edit]

Every time I go to your talk page I see the "you have new messages on your talk page" message. Might want to look through some code. I'll mention it to someone else in case its just me. MikeTalk 22:40, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

Well now I think I see what it is, check the tags at the top of your user and talk page it looks like this <div class="usermessage">You have [[Special:MyTalk|new messages]] ([[Special:MyTalk|last change]]).</div>. Again, maybe its just me, you'll have to confirm with someone else lol. MikeTalk 22:56, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
First, I thought you left forever. Good to have you back! Second, it's true. :) I created the message myself and put it at my user page and talk page. I have it there for fun. :D --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 06:05, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
Well, i haven't really left, whenever i see a page changed and a notification at my email, i come back. But since i dont really have time to edit a ton, i just come when i find something interesting. MikeTalk 16:27, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

Good Luck![edit]

Good luck with the mod! What kind of spells does it add?--Ghurhak gro-Demril or TAOYes? 18:59, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

Thanks! It currently have spells that:

and many others...

If you want, I can sent you the esp file, but not now, I am at my laptop. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 19:11, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

Wouldn't do me any good for you to send me the esp, since I play on the PS3. Sounds like a cool mod though. Hope it goes well!--Ghurhak gro-Demril or TAOYes? 19:18, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
Thanks again! --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 19:22, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
You're welcome!--Ghurhak gro-Demril or TAOYes? 19:23, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

TES V Information[edit]

Don't you think it would be good to expand this article at least a little before the Skyrim namespace is created? I understand its temporary, but I don't think an image would hurt. Avagoth 15:08, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

I don't believe an image goes in such an article. I believe it is best to be reserved for the actual page. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 16:34, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

Your last undo[edit]

You were correct to undo that edit to Generic Magic Weapons‎, but for the wrong reasons. Reason-1 is that there are no locations on that page. Reason-2 is that the edit was referring to Swords of White Woe, but the edit did not indicate that. --Brf 20:31, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

Well, I don't have Morrowind (yet) so my knowledge is limited to what I have learned here. Thanks for stating the reasons, I now known what exactly I must do in the future. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 20:35, 16 December 2010 (UTC) P.S. Congratulations on your succesfull patroller nomination!
Thanks. I am still learning the system. The mechanics is not too hard, but the etiquette is something that has to be learned by experience. --Brf 20:38, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

Warning[edit]

Seems it may not be totally clear to you we have adopted Wikipedia's policy on this matter, here is a single friendly reminder to not disrupt the wiki to proof a point. Specifically, do not move pages just to proof it is possible! --Timenn-<talk> 21:11, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

Didn't know that. Sorry. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 21:15, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

Advice[edit]

Rigas, you've done some very useful stuff on UESP but I'm afraid you and I are going to have a falling-out soon. The WP:POINT stuff you did about page protection has already been pointed out by Timenn, and all I can say is that if I'd spotted it before him, you'd have got an official warning about it. Then you make a sarcastic comment when Krusty makes protections later. You bug a user for an answer less than 30 minutes after asking a question, and you keep chatting to people about non-site stuff even after being asked several times not to do so.

Please can you concentrate on content for a while? At the moment it seems like you have adminitis even though there's no way you should have been able to contract it. rpeh •TCE 00:35, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

I can understand what you mean. But a few things:
First: The Wikipeedia page you linked to doesn't exist, so I can not understand what adminitis is.
Second: It was not intended to be a sarcastic comment. Sorry.
Third: Timenn told me about the WP:POINT after I moved the page. I didn't know. Sorry (again).
Fourth: Sorry for bugging Kivan.

--Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 06:09, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

I'm not trying to make you think we're all ganging up on you but I'm afraid I agree with rpeh. Of your last 500 edits, about 275 have been in the User namespace... Granted you're a UP, but that's still a lot. You've been doing some decent "patrolling" lately but I had a real hard time finding some serious, content edits. The wiki is not about chatting about unrelated things on talk pages (forums and IRC exist for that) nor is it some sort of "race to the top". By this I mean that you seem to be obsessed with improving your edit count, and consider it a competition. That's not what the wiki is about. Edit Count is not a very good measure of a user's contribution to the wiki (see Elliot's very high edit count). Just because you "overtake" people like Jplatinum or Corevette (who are both Patrollers and have made significant contributio) or Wolok, another great editor, doesn't necessarily mean you've contributed significantly. My advice is to go back and start editing properly, join a project such as the OBNPCRP or the OPRP and contribute to them. Best of luck. --SerCenKing Talk 09:51, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
My edit count... I am very competitive by character and I can't do anything about it. Sorry. About projects, I am an active member of the OBNPCRD. About Userspace edits, "granted that you are a UP". Now, in general, I think that I indeed should stop chatting. I'll try to never let it happen again (heavily). Thanks for trying to help. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 12:15, 20 December 2010 (UTC) P.S. Can someone explain to me what "adminitis" is?
Click the link again. -  Bomb Bloke (Talk/Contribs) 12:57, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
Indeed. I fixed the link a few minutes after I first posted it. rpeh •TCE 14:45, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
I don't have adminitis. I deciced to take a wiki break. So, you'll probably see me rarely for a while. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 17:38, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

Quotes[edit]

Rigas if you are looking for funny quotes check out the Bots' Valentine's Date. By the way you have the archive the talk page again. And don't take the "wikibreak" too seriously. --Wizy (Talk/Contribs) 05:55, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

I've seen that message again, and I don't consider it so funny. I truly have to archive the page again. And about the Wiki-break, I will still log in almost every day, just I will not be very active. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 06:12, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

Services[edit]

How are you checking these? I didn't think you were knowledgeable about the Construction Set? rpeh •TCE 15:58, 7 January 2011 (UTC)

In-game, only for NPCs that don't offer services. That way I am sure I didn't make a mistake, and I contribute to the project. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 16:03, 7 January 2011 (UTC) P.S. My knowledge of the CS is limited to all the basic activities and basic scripting. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 16:03, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
Just to chip in, my understanding is that checking should be done in-game when written for the CS (where aplicable) and vice-versa - Emoboy64 16:04, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
You checked six NPCs for services at all stages of their schedules in five minutes? And Emoboy is right - please use the CS since Krusty always writes in-game. rpeh •TCE 16:05, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
I don't do it now, I use information I gathered from gameplay. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 16:06, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
How are you checking your info, in-game or CS? Please say that in the template at the top and update your other ones you have done recently. Thanks - Emoboy64
I don't find the reason to tell from where I checked the information when they have no house. It's pointless. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 17:35, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
Maybe so, but checking guidelines are the checking guidelines. Please can you add them, if it's pointless, there is no harm in adding it is there? - Emoboy64 17:37, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
Um... How? Let's take Gan Luseph for example. Krusty wrote that he has no house in-game. What do I do? --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 17:41, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
Going back to the original question, how are you checking them? I would take 'living' in a house as where they spend there time eating or sleeping (you should know what consitiutes as living somewhere) That NPC is marked as living in the castle. Please can you add what you added the infomation from, following the guidelines help other contributors to contribute. And again, it may seem trivial that if checking an npc that does not own a house and was written in-game, in game itself may still be checking and with it not being something that would be different on the CS seems silly to have to be checked with the opposite 'thing', but hey, the guidelines where put down by someone else. Unless Rpeh or Krusty say otherwise, i think it should stick to having to be checked CS for in-game houses. (Sorry for the lengthy reply) - Emoboy64 17:51, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
My checkings are based on what GuildKnight wrote. According to what she wrote, the NPC must be the owner of the house. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 17:56, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
Regardless, add where you got the info from. End of discussion, I hope you can see where I was coming from. Thanks- Emoboy64 18:00, 7 January 2011 (UTC)

A small favor[edit]

Would you mind removing the fake "New Messages" alert from the top of your talk page? It confuses newer members and is still annoying to people who realize its fake, like me. --Pwnageincarnate 19:27, 8 January 2011 (UTC)Pwnageincarnate

Trust me, I'm not new Pwn. I joined in September. Posted great ideas, but life called for me. :) Lucil Hellsing 19:32, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

I was in fact referring to my own confusion upon initially seeing the message, and theoretically extending my confusion to other members. I had been meaning to post this for a while, but I didn't want to seem childish for asking him to remove it, and your complaint seemed like a good catalyst to start the conversation.--Pwnageincarnate 19:35, 8 January 2011 (UTC)Pwnageincarnate
Done. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 19:38, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Thanks Rigas, sorry to create commotion.--Pwnageincarnate 19:40, 8 January 2011 (UTC)Pwnageincarnate

Stop it right now![edit]

You know what I mean. Eat the criticism for now and sleep on it. Okay? --Krusty 20:13, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

Okay. But I have to do one final question to Lucil. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 20:17, 8 January 2011 (UTC) P.S. What criticism? I said I don't hate Fallout.
No longer need to, her posts on your page are enough. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 20:21, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Now, enough of that. Please refer from any more comments on Pengepi's page. --Krusty 20:22, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Got it. I'm glad that this stopped. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 20:26, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Do me a favor and take a mental note - sometimes it is simply better to ignore than to argue; things can blow up before you even know it. --Krusty 20:29, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Sorry, but this is unacceptable. What exactly are you trying to accomplish with this? You said elsewhere in this post that you were glad "this stopped" - why are you trying to stir it up again? My suggestion is that you remove that post right away - and follow the advice I gave you above. --Krusty 15:07, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
I was not trying to bring the matter up again. I just commented about how Pwnage killed my surname. I didn't even try to contact Lucil, only Pwnage. Anyway, I removed the post. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 17:19, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Grafik bionix edit[edit]

I noticed your "?" in the edit summary when you reverted the edit to User talk:Grafik bionix. I am guessing that that anonymous user is actually Grafik bionix, and he has recently Googled "Grafik bionix" is going back and removing it wherever he finds it. The timing would be right for the one other edit made by that anonymous IP and the creation of the the user Grafik bionix. I have seen other users do the same thing that Grafik bionix is doing, and it always amuses me. --Brf 14:02, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

Inactive Status[edit]

I appreciate that you want to keep the statuses up to date, but it's probably better to ask those who are active or semi-active to update the status to what they feel is best. My recent activity is more coincidence than anything, and I still consider myself relatively inactive, since I'm doing very little patrolling or significant contribution to the site. I'll certainly block a vandal if I see it, but especially on the Blockuser page, I'd rather err on the side of saying I'm less active than the other way around.

If you happen to notice anywhere else that my status doesn't match, you'll notice I've now created a User:RobinHood70/Status page. I think it's only there and the Patrollers page (where Inactive is inappropriate due to the sub-heading), but if I've missed anything, feel free to change the link appropriately and that way, everything will always reflect the one status. Robin Hoodtalk 04:13, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Okay, it's your status. I'll transinclude the page when yiur activity status are. I remember a small disagreement that me and Timenn had on the grounds onf Nephele's inactivity. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 06:07, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Fanfiction[edit]

Hey, KIDDO! Are you willing to write some Fanfiction? I'm in the mood. :D Shianni 20:49, 29 January 2011 (UTC)

I am writing this if you are interested. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 21:14, 29 January 2011 (UTC)

OMG, RIGAS.[edit]

Should I be nominated as a userspace patroller, I just thought of this today, and I'm like, "WOOAAHHH...that'd be so awesomesauce"! What do 'ya think? Shianni 05:48, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, but an account must be at least 1 month old to qualify for userspace patrolling. Wait until February 19, okay? --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 12:23, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
P.S. Nice welcome messages... ;)

Resignation ?[edit]

Do you mind me asking why you are leaving? Personal, or are you just tired of the wiki? Just curious. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 18:29, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

Sure, no matter.
It no longer feels the same going editing. I don't have that same urge to go and add information. To go improve things. The best way to describe it is that I got tired of the wiki.
I peacefully retired at other activities on my PC. I got stuck with old things again. So, I prefer to spent my time there.
You'll certainly see me back here at 11.11.11!
--Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 20:46, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

In-active UP update[edit]

Hey! Due to your recent inactivity, I have moved you to a new section on the Userspace Patrollers List, named In-active Userspace Patrollers. If you at some point decide to return to the job, please move your name to the active/semi-active UP list just above. Thanks. --Krusty 13:26, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Sure, no problem. I still patrol, but not much. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 14:12, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Thanks..[edit]

For noticing that. Slip of the hand mate! JackTurbo95 09:53, 20 April 2011 (UTC)

Glad to make an edit again after a long time. I am looking around to see what happened while I was gone. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 09:55, 20 April 2011 (UTC)

Second warning of the day[edit]

Sheesh! thats the second warning given out to a vandal today~--Iamgoofball 16:57, 30 April 2011 (UTC)

Not really that unusual, plenty of trouble makers. Personally I think things are surprisingly calm despite recent events. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 17:12, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
Just a question, what do you think of this fan fiction I made? User:Iamgoofball/The_Ayleid_Lord:_The_Crusader's_View Also, this award is for you:
OB-item-Oghma Infinium.jpg
You have been given an Oghma Infinium!

Your awesome wiki edits have not gone unnoticed. A user has seen the awesome edits you've made, and has given you this book because of it. Good work!

This copy of the Oghma Infinium was presented by Iamgoofball on 17:17, 30 April 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the award! It's unusual, and I like it.
Your fanfiction reminds me a lot of the way I used to write fanficition, just more detailed. The story is typical for Elder Scrolls, and I suggest to spice it up if you want the fanfic be better.
Hope I helped! --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 19:56, 30 April 2011 (UTC)

?[edit]

Why do you say that you must have just had an accident to to read that upside down/backwards text on your page? Also, how did you get it to do that?--Ghurhak gro-Demril or TAOYes? 11:00, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

I mean that your car turned upside-down and you can read this. Sure, you are not in a car, but...
Go to www.typeupsidedown.com to type anything you want upside down. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 11:06, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

Editing Question[edit]

Sorry if I am placing this in the wrong place. Wiki noob..

I want to edit the embedded {{/Eastmarch}} page on http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Miscellaneous_Quests - but I don't know how to access the embedded document. Can you help? (I want to make the columns sortable).

Thanks, Weaseal 07:42, 30 November 2011 (UTC)

A notice, you messed up on the first link. Using /*name* automatically links to that page in the same namespace, so you got a link to to User talk:Rigas/Eastmarch.
I can't see any document on neither the Lore:Eastmarch page or the Skyrim:Eastmarch page.
I'm afraid I can't help you :/ You many want to ask a more active editor, as I have been away for quite some time.
--Rigas • TalkDeeds 16:55, 30 November 2011 (UTC)

Huh?[edit]

About 14 months ago you left a message on my talk page with the title "Old topics": "You should not resurrect dead topics as you did here. Resurrecting dead topics is almost pointless because in most cases the people talking are no longer around." To say it's been a while since I've logged in to the Wiki is somewhat of an understatement, but suffice it to say, I just now got that message and, in reviewing the page history, I can't figure out which edit you're talking about. There are four edits to that page in September of 2010:

(cur) (prev) 17:23, 30 September 2010 S'drassa (Talk | contribs) m (18,257 bytes) (Undo two edits. Inappropriate comment that doesn't apply in this case) (undo)
(cur) (prev) 17:01, 30 September 2010 Rigas (Talk | contribs) (18,423 bytes) (→Antoinetta Marie? wtf?) (undo)
(cur) (prev) 16:58, 30 September 2010 Rigas (Talk | contribs) (18,381 bytes) (→Antoinetta Marie? wtf?) (undo)
(cur) (prev) 07:12, 6 September 2010 187.37.54.205 (Talk) (18,257 bytes) (→Antoinetta Marie? wtf?: new section) (undo)

As you can see, I made none of those edits. The previous edit before September to that talk page was back in July of that year, and since you left the message on September 30th, nothing beyond that date is relevant. Furthermore I don't see where I've made any edits to that talk page since July of 2009, which, coincidentally, is 14 months before you left the message on my talk page. Prior to my edit to Skyrim:Severio Pelagia today, I haven't made an edit on this wiki since August of 2010, almost a year and a half ago. Deadlykris 20:48, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

Evermore[edit]

Hi, Rigas. This is in regards to an edit you made in 2010 where you set up the page for Evermore. You wrote that it is the main city of the state of High Rock, but I and others have been unable to corroborate this information. I'm not sure when or if you'll be back on, so I'm just going to remove it for now; if you can cite a proper source, feel free to re-add it. Minor EditsThreatsEvidence 00:04, 14 April 2013 (GMT)

I don't even remember creating that page, or from where I got that information. In any case, I can't cite it, so good call. --Rigas (talk) 17:24, 16 April 2013 (GMT)

UESPholic Test[edit]

Would you mind if I moved your UESPholic test to Project space? Now that it's seeing widespread use, I think it makes sense to move it out of user space. Robin Hood  (talk) 18:46, 23 May 2017 (UTC)

No problem, feel free to if you haven't already. --Rigas (talk) 16:59, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
