Welcome Rebelscum[edit]

Hello Rebelscum! Welcome to the wiki. I hope you enjoy using the site and find the information on it useful. If you decide you want to help improve any of our pages, we're always welcoming to new editors so feel free. You might want to look at our Getting Started page for some tips on how to begin, then play in our Sandbox for a while to practice. If you need any help or advice, please ask one of our mentors. Enjoy! --BenouldTC 15:04, 25 June 2008 (EDT)

Confusing when older talk contributions are edited.[edit]

I think no-one will deny your right to edit or delete your own contributions, but when you do it in contributions that have received response in a talk page without marking it clearly, it can easily become confusing to follow the discussion. I can not say that I am such an experienced Wiki user myself that I feel I can say what should have been the right way to do it, but what you did 13:54, 31 August 2012 (UTC) in the talk page of Ustengrav gave me a moment of "Huh?". ;-) —MortenOSlash 08:36, 1 September 2012 (UTC)

MOS has a good point. I don't think there's any set policy about this anywhere, but perhaps simply using strikeout on the parts to remove would be better (by typing <s> at the beginning and </s> at the end of the text you want to strike out). There were ten different responses to that post between when you first made it and when you edited it, so if any of those responses pertain to the bit you deleted, it could definitely make the discussion confusing.
