Hi, welcome to the wiki and thanks for trying to improve the writeups on cheats and glitches. I think your new material would be most useful if you tried to stick with the existing format on the glitches page, and tried to integrate what you are adding into what is already there. For example, in stead of adding a new write up on duplicating items, see whether or not what you've added is already in the section on Duplicate Items Using Arrows. If that section is missing any info, add to it instead of replacing it. And if then you want to mention that cheat, you can create a link to it, for example like the one I just used here. In general, it's most useful for readers if any topic is just written about in one place, and all of the relevant information is combined in that one place, rather than forcing the readers to check five different pages and compare them in order to figure out the answer to their questions. Again, thanks for the working you're doing and let me know if there are any questions I might be able to answer :) --Nephele 14:56, 21 August 2006 (EDT)

Yeah i mentioned this in the discussion of the section, im having some amount of difficulty formatting the article. As it is, the article is formatted solely by me copy-pasting bits of other sections and hoping for the best. I will cut down the parts that simply reiterate glitches that are allready mentioned elsewhere on the page now, but as far as formatting goes i am completely clueless. --N0 m3RcY 14:59, 21 August 2006 (EDT)--N0 m3RcY 14:59, 21 August 2006 (EDT)

Wikipedia has a good general tutorial on formatting. It applies to our site because we use the same software, so you might this and some of their other articles on how to edit useful. --Aristeo 15:05, 21 August 2006 (EDT)

i get the basics its just i dont seem to be getting the results i am aiming for, i think the problem i had with formatting is due to all the br tags i put in it. Anyway ive chopped a big uneeded chunk out of it and removed the extra headers, only problem now i think is the indentation?--N0 m3RcY 15:07, 21 August 2006 (EDT)

A few tips on the formatting from looking at what you have so far:
 • If you put your entire paragraph onto a single line, you can indent the whole thing with one colon at the beginning
 • You don't normally need to use
commands, just a single blank line between the paragraphs will work
 • With numbered lists it's generally easiest to use the wiki's numbering system. So instead of starting off the line with "1)" start it with "#" (or ":#" if you want it indented); wiki will replace the "#" symbol with the appropriate number. No
is needed at the end of the line in this case.
Hope this helps. Also you can look through some of the info at Help:Cheat_Sheet for some more pointers. --Nephele 15:12, 21 August 2006 (EDT)

Thanks, thats pretty much exactly what i was having problems with, ill get on it now --N0 m3RcY 15:23, 21 August 2006 (EDT)
