Welcome[edit]

Hello Joshie164! Welcome to the wiki. I hope you enjoy using the site and find the information on it useful. If you decide you want to help improve any of our pages, we're always welcoming to new editors so feel free. You might want to look at our Getting Started page for some tips on how to begin, then play in our Sandbox for a while to practice. If you need any help or advice, please ask one of our mentors. Enjoy! –RpehTCE 19:16, 8 February 2008 (EST)

Warning[edit]

Stop hand.png Please do not delete official tags from the site without adequate explanation. You have done so on Oblivion:Emer Dareloth both under this account and anonymously, despite being asked several times to stop. If you continue to remove the notice you will be blocked from editing. –RpehTCE 06:53, 9 February 2008 (EST)
This is what i meant when i talked about picking a fight with administrators Volanaro 09:24, 10 February 2008 (EST)

Blocked[edit]

Stop hand.png

This IP address has been blocked from editing UESPWiki for repeatedly deleting official warnings despite being warned to stop. If you wish to appeal the block, you may make your request on your talk page, which you can still edit even while being blocked. –RpehTCE 13:59, 10 February 2008 (EST)

Explanation[edit]

Just to be clear. You have been blocked purely for ignoring advice and warnings. If you had listened to the original advice about not deleting tags you wouldn't have been warned or blocked.

We have rules and guidelines on this site. Administrators, Patrollers and other users all spend their own free time to enforce them and it's just frustrating when somebody decides to ignore them. Your article, Oblivion:Emer Dareloth was originally proposed for deletion by TheRealLurlock, an administrator. Since then your deletions have been reverted eight times by two other users. All three users have posted extra information on the talk page of that article explaining why it should be deleted.

As a result of your ignoring those comments I gave you an official warning explaining that you shouldn't remove tags. Incredibly you then deleted that warning three times. The fact that you then repeatedly deleted a warning about deleting warnings would be funny if it wasn't serious. Your block expires about half an hour from now but I'm posting this to make it clear that if you continue your behaviour you're going to be blocked again.

You are more than welcome to continue editing the site after your block expires but I strongly suggest that you read the help files to which I referred you when I welcomed you originally. –RpehTCE 14:37, 10 February 2008 (EST)

The reason I deleted the Warnings was because I had understood the error of my ways and wanted too start afresh.

Response[edit]

I don't see the point in a warning staying here if I have read and understood it.--Joshie164 16:38, 10 February 2008 (EST)

While it may be true that you "read and understood" the warning, your actions do nothing to indicate that this is the case. You were told multiple times that it is against site policy to remove official tags and warnings, yet you continued to do so. As rpeh said, you're certainly welcome to continue editing, as long as you understand (and demonstrate that you understand) that site policies apply to everyone and are there for a reason. --Eshetalk16:53, 10 February 2008 (EST)
I know that it's unlikely you will get another warning, but in future if you want to get rid of a warning on your talk page politely ask permission before hand.--Willyhead 17:08, 10 February 2008 (EST)

Ok, I apologise. Please can I delete the Warnings?--Joshie164 05:38, 11 February 2008 (EST)

I think it's a bit beyond that, if you try to delete thos warnings straight after you've been blocked for doing just that, you might make hings a lobt worse for yourself. Volanaro 05:42, 11 February 2008 (EST)

Yes, but here's the difference; this time I am asking politely too remove them instead of just removing them.--Joshie164 06:10, 11 February 2008 (EST)

Not at the moment. An administrator will remove the warnings for you when it is deemed appropriate. The usual waiting period is a month although that can be sooner at an admin's discretion. This isn't about victimizing you or trying to embarrass you - it's about making it clear to you and everybody else that administrative notices are there for a reason and not to be interfered with. –RpehTCE 08:10, 11 February 2008 (EST)
