Welcome![edit]

Hello Jesseclark152! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you would like to spice up your userpage, click here for a list of userboxes you can use, including a guide to making your own.

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! —Xyzzy 07:27, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

Hero of Kvatch[edit]

I noticed you are trying to create a page for the Hero of Kvatch. UESPWiki is not the correct namespace for this type of article. I would suggest making the page you're trying to create in a sandbox of your own until someone else can tell you where the appropriate place for such an article would be. I've looked, and can't find where the information would be, but I've got a feeling it's already somewhere on the site. ABCface 07:32, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the help! And yeah - you'll have to excuse the new guy. What exactly is a namespace? Jesseclark152
It's no problem. It can be confusing at first. The namespaces basically organize the site so that related information is grouped together. For instance, Skyrim information is in the Skyrim namespace, information related to game history and lore is in the Lore namespace, etc. On the left sidebar, you'll see an area listing "sections" starting with 'All Content' and ending with 'TES Travels'. Those are just some of the namespaces on site. The 'UESPWiki' namespace is generally used for projects and other community-related pages. See this link for a little more information.
I think the information you're trying to add is probably on-site somewhere, but I can't figure out where exactly (though Lore:Hero does have a very small blurb). Another editor should be able to direct you to where that information is relatively soon, and then you can improve that article as needed once we figure out where it is. :) Hope that helps a little bit, sorry I couldn't be more help! Thanks man! I'll try to get it straightened out.
