Welcome and advice[edit]

Hello! Welcome to UESPWiki. I have noticed that you've made several edits to another users' talk page, just to remove them again a few moments later. I'd recommend you check out the following links and play around in our sandbox for a while, just to get a hang of it.

If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

 • Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own.

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors if you need any help. Have fun! --Krusty 12:32, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

Gee, thanks for the warm welcome Krusty! The reason I removed the comments is because I asked Robin Hood how to add a new page and I found out how to.

Linking[edit]

Since you removed it, I'm guessing you've figured it out, but you can link to a sub-page in a variety of ways, though they really amount to the same thing in the end. The simplest and most common way of linking to a subpage of the current page is to just type [[/MySubpageName]]. The Quick Editing Guide mentioned in Krusty's welcome message will give you a better description of some of the other possibilities.

Also, while it's not used all that often, had you wanted to insert just your name, as it looks like you tried to in your message, in addition to the four tilde signature described above, you can use three tildes for just your name (or customized signature if you change it in your preferences) or five tildes for just the date and time. After writing that, I noticed the edits to your user page. You have the right idea, only you created the page as an Oblivion page instead of putting it under your User page. I've moved the page and corrected the link on your user page. (Note, though, that it's generally taboo to change another user's page outside of fixing links or undoing vandalism.) Userboxes[edit]

Hi,

If you want to add the Oblivion userbox to your userpage, use the code {{User Oblivion}}. rpeh •TCE 13:31, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

Spacing for Userboxes[edit]

For the spacing between the two lines of Userboxes and between them and the text below, try the following (if you cut & paste from the edit window, ignore the
and
):

{{User Oblivion}}{{User UESPWikian|year=2010|month=4|day=29}}{{User Male}}{{User English}}
{{NewLine}}
{{User Race|Imperial|bg-color=#aaffff|text-color=#009900}}{{User XBox}}{{User M'aiq}}{{User NineDivines}}

Is there going to be a Elder Scrolls V: Elsweyr? I read it somewhere. Anyway, if someone has any info on this Elsweyr game, or if it was a scam, any info on The Elder Scrolls V, because I know there is a new Elder Scrolls, I just don't know which Province it is in. Oh Most Certainly!! Golden Eagle

Its back and better than ever![edit]

Skyrim in 16 days! I just saw the gameplay footage and it is awesome! Only thing I'm iffy about is the fighting 'sounds'. Maybe its just me, but some of the 'hit' sounds sound kinda 'evisceral'. Oh and the marriage thing. The fact you have to wear a special Amulet sounds cool but what if:

You are walking around in the woods and you see this clumsy fat arse(ass)hole Orc bandit falling over repeatedly. So you think it would be funny to paralyse him. So you go to your spell menu, select 'Paralysis' (unsurprisingly) and blast him. What you didn't no is that you chose the wrong spell. You selected 'Paramxeia', a charm spell that increases disposition by 950,000%. So your annoyed. You attempt to equip your 'I'm Pissed' axe but instead you equip the Marital Amulet. In the end you become married to an ugly, fat outlaw. And I don't think there will be a option for divorce. So your stuck with murdering him in his sleep, but then you get executed. And then your PS3 overheats because it's a PS3. And then you can never play anything again! So yeah Golden Eagle
