Welcome![edit]

Hello CourtneyThorne! Welcome to UESPWiki! It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you would like to spice up your userpage, click here for a list of userboxes you can use, including a guide to making your own.

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

I've noticed that you've been signing your contributions on pages you edit; this is unnecessary as your username will be recorded in the page's history and signatures on pages can be seen as clutter.

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox. If you would like to discuss the games or lore, consider checking out our blog, our Discord, or the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Lastly, thanks once again for joining the UESPWiki, have fun!

ESO Build Pages Redesign[edit]

Just letting you know, the redesigns you did on the ESO Build pages - Well, I was already in the middle of doing that. (See the Dragonknight pages for examples.) Your design has one major flaw in that it loses the information on the order in which the Advisor suggests skills. I see what your intention was, to group them by skill tree, distinguish Ultimates, Active, and Passive skills, and group the Morphs with their parent skill. This is now handled by the color-coding. And the table design also shows which skill tree each skill is on, while still preserving their order in the Advisor interface. I don't want to discourage you from contributing, but I think in this case the other design is better. — TheRealLurlock (talk) 01:48, 3 March 2018 (UTC)

I wasn't aware that anyone else was working on that. I'm sorry if I made things any harder for anyone else as far as getting the pages cleaned up. I only did four of the Nightblade pages, so hopefully it won't be anything too in the way. I understand what you're saying about the flaw in my redesigns. I'll try to be more mindful if I decide to contribute again. Thank you for your feedback.

Don't worry about it. That's what the page history is for. Also, future reference, as a general rule, we usually try to keep conversations on the same page - it's less confusing that way. Anyhow, thanks for contributing. Any help is always appreciated. Just maybe make suggestions on the talk page first if you're not sure. — TheRealLurlock (talk) 02:15, 3 March 2018 (UTC)
Sorry, I wasn't sure that you'd see my response if I posted it here. Thank you for letting me know. I'll be sure to keep that in mind if I decide to make a contribution again.
