Welcome[edit]

Hello! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

Policies and Guidelines: UESPWiki standards and expectations

Quick Editing Guide: a quick guide to wiki markup

Getting Started: how you can help If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! --Manic 18:35, 20 June 2011 (UTC)

Lore Edit[edit]

While I'm not the one who reverted your recent edit to the Amulet of Kings talk page, I noticed it and just thought I'd explain a little more why it was removed. On the wiki, we try to focus our discussions on what needs to go into an article and what should remain out. Unless you feel there's strong enough evidence for a theory that it should be added to the page, things like speculating on whys and wherefores, or encouraging discussion/debate about them, should generally be brought up in our forums rather than on the wiki itself. Yes, I went on IRC and saw that. Thank you. Baron Praxis (talk) 05:10, 11 November 2012 (GMT)

Older Posts[edit]

Hey, Baron Praxis! Just wanted to let you know, in response to this edit, we typically allow posts that have gone over the 3-month limit if they are a response to an unanswered question. So in that case, even though it's been over a year and a half since any posts were made, there were no other responses, so it's probably okay to let it stay. Just wanted to give you the heads-up, since I've made the same mistake myself. Thanks! Zul se onikaanLaan tinvaak 14:22, 3 February 2015 (GMT)

I understand. Baron Praxis (talk) 04:14, 6 February 2015 (GMT)
