Hey! I just removed some of the stuff you put on Daedric text because, as far as I can tell, this information hasn't been officially released yet and thus breaks the NDA. Hello, regarding this edit, where is this "correct" text from? What was there already is directly, and recently, copied from the texts that you see during the quest. Does the new version show up at a later point in the game after you finish the quest? ~ Alarra (talk • contribs) 14:14, 7 September 2017 (UTC)
- Hi! The text that was there before is indeed in the game, although it's still incorrect. The text that was there was from the tiles found in Sorrow, which are part of the quest; but the last tile of those features the incorrect text. Half of it is a copy of the text of the second part, namely "Jur ugo sim ren tum Torug beshkar". The correct text is found in Torug ag Krazak, which can be read after completing the quest. You can clearly tell that the translation doesn't add up with the Orcish text if you read the old pre-edit text. Aran Anumarile Autaracu Alatasel (talk) 15:42, 7 September 2017 (UTC)

Aranias did indeed create the entire island of Silatar, per the quest The Witch of Silatar:
- "Why are your clothes all wet?"—Indrathel
- "Mother! What do you think of this tree? How about the island you're standing on?"—Aranias
- "The ground is soaked. I will need new shoes now."
- "I made it!"
- "What? You made the ground soggy?"
- "The island. I made this little island!…These trees, those rocks, none of this was here yesterday. The ground is wet because I used my magic to pull it up from under the water."
- "Oh, Ars. What have you done?"
- That is actually incorrect. They're not talking about Silatar, they're talking about a small island that Aranias raised out of a pond on Silatar. Redo the quest, or watch a playthrough of it on YouTube. It's pretty clear that they're talking about that, and not Silatar (note the "little island" in the quote). Silatar is where Aranias grew up, it existed before her (I'm pretty sure that she says that she has never left the island). - I see what you mean, but looking at the island map you will note that the area they're standing on is not an island - it's connected to the rest of the landmass. Similarly, the loading screen for Silatar describes it as being magical: "This offshore island feels like it's from another, better world. It radiates an almost palpable aura of magicka. It's wonderful … and somehow very, very wrong."
- If you can provide a quote that definitively proves that the island is older than her, then I would of course have to concede. However, all the evidence I'm seeing points to the entire island being artificial. Hey, I noticed you removed the section on the Sload page about their fingers conforming to the contours of an object to grasp things. Just thought you should know, that is partly explained in the PGE; the Wild Regions, under the liabilities section of the sload: "Poor grasping ability, weak tool use. [Sload slowly adapt their outer integument to conform with surfaces and objects, permitting them to pick things up or climb things like disgusting slugs.]". With this information, given that the sload in concept art (and N'gasta) have four fingers, I think the thing you removed wasn't necessarily an unsourced claim but an extrapolation based on the information we have; sload flesh forms around objects to grasp things, and sload have four fingers. — Unsigned comment by 220.127.116.11 (talk) at 10:42 on 26 July 2018 (UTC)
