Apology[edit]

This IP adress is one of several used in a public school, the students concerend have been made aware of the complaints made against us I.E. vandalism, and it is hoped that this issue will be resolved soon. — Unsigned comment by 194.80.21.10 (talk)

Thanks for the information. In accordance with our Blocking Policy, the existing block was only a one-week block and therefore it expired today. However, if vandalism continues to occur from this IP we will need to be able to take action to protect the site. Given your information, and the fact that this IP address does have a history of making constructive edits, we'll try to avoid imposing any permanent blocks. The other students who use the computers may also want to set up accounts on the site. By default anyone with an account can still edit the site even if the IP they are using has been blocked. --NepheleTalk 11:34, 8 November 2007 (EST)
Also, in case anyone was wondering what exactly led to the warning and block here are the specific edits that were made (in each case, the page starts with a comparison of the page before the edit (on the left) and after the edit (on the right), then displays the article as it appeared after the edit): [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], and [6] were the edits prior to the warning; [7], [8], [9], and [10] were the edits prior to the block. These edits were not made in good faith and clearly qualify as vandalism. --NepheleTalk 11:48, 8 November 2007 (EST)

Sorry if this affects other people, but we gave you a chance, only to be flooded with another batch of junk edits. I gave it a month this time. If this type of behavior continues again after this block expires, I think we may have to make it permanent. ----TheRealLurlock Talk 10:41, 12 November 2007 (EST)

This block is now for 6 months - the maximum length of time we use before a block becomes permanent. This is now definitively your last warning. If vandalism continues after this block expires you will be blocked indefinitely. —RpehTCE 09:43, 17 December 2007 (EST)
