There are many sheep on Khenarthi's Roost. A number of these herds are watched by a shepherd: Sallit, Sibud-ja, and Tirusa, to name a few.

Dirsherr[edit]

  • Water temple.
  • 1 line so far.
  • interaction doesn't seem to require another npc's presence to trigger dialogue.

Ziakar is complete.

Surasha[edit]

  • Two of her lines with Ziakar might have an interchangeable response from the old man.
  • She walks right up to one of Sallit's stopping points. Been at it for 2 hours and I haven't been able to confirm any this session.

Sallit[edit]

  • Got a screenshot of one of Sallit's responses. Appears to be Line 2 in a conversation.
  • Sallit and Dirsherr keep getting killed by people for witnessing sheep murder. Sallit went in weird slow-mo loopdey-loops through his routine, like, going a quarter or half of the way to one destination before turning around, when Surala approached roadside spot just now. It was like his AI couldn't decide where it needed to be. He ended up going to lean against the Khajiiti temple rubble and she walked away to go back towards Crescent Moons. I think the shepherds' AI isn't working the way I need it to because their schedules keep getting interrupted by sheep murder?
  • Their schedules have had difficulties lining up before, but Sallit's never done the slo-mo "can't decide where he wants to go for dinner" maneuver until today. Sometimes Surala will be at the meeting spot and Sallit will be kneeling beside the cluster of sheep atop the hill.

Sallit's schedule:

  • lean against the wall.
  • Kneel by the sheep on the hill.
  • Stand by the road.

Somewhere during this routine, he (seemingly randomly???) falls to his knees in a mourning animation. I took a screenshot of him doing this to a dead sheep by the lamppost on the south side of the road (not where he's usually at), and later today a little ways diagonally beyond the hill sheep. When I saw him mourn by the hill sheep, there was no corpse.

Gagni[edit]

  • Walks between Tirusa and Sibud-ja's herd. Dialogue with either unconfirmed.
  • He stops a short way along the path to Laughing Moons both ways on the route between his destinations.

Tirusa[edit]

  • Screenshotted a response of hers yesterday. No confirmed Line 1.
  • She supposedly stands up according to her NPC image. I thought I saw her stand up yesterday, but I can't recall if she did.
  • Sat next to her for over 45 minutes and she never moved or spoke. Gagni approached her (several meters away from her rock cluster, behind her+a bit to the side) many times to no response.

Dialogue Unconfirmed[edit]

First two are positioned the same place above the "khenarthi shepherd cluster" (colloquial) that Tirusa's confirmed line is located. Ziakar/Surasha is the third down the line of dialogue pairs, Dirsherr and Sallit's lines are smattered in "row 2", and Tirusa appears positioned in "row 1".

Row 1[edit]

(?): "With a little more sun, this would be a good day!"
(?): "Aye, but a little rain would not go unappreciated."
(?): "Ah, (?). A little toil is good for the bones, is it not?"
(?): "It is true, (?). Age has wisened you, (?) knows."
"How is the herd? As lively as it looks?"
"That it is, my old friend."

All of these are paired. "that it is" is screenshotted.

Row 2[edit]

"<<1>> plans to consult the Two Moons tomorrow. Care to join me?"
"The sheep, they require so much goading of late. The storm, it has them on edge."

(these are paired. Dirsherr spoke with no one else around. only 1 line of dialogue in chat as evidence.)

"All is well with you, brother?"
"Of course! The weather could be better, but it is always so, yes?"

These are paired. "weather could be better" is screenshotted.
