Already congratulated you on the IRC, but I'd like to do it twice, so: Congratulations! --Krusty 08:06, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
Congratulations! You might prefer them covered in marmite though... rpeh •TCE 15:09, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
Thanks, all of you! I'm so excited! And in case anyone else is wondering what the congratulations are for, I just found out yesterday that I'm pregnant! --GKtalk2me 15:32, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

You have been given a Pet Daedroth!

Congratulations! Hope you like him!--TheAlbinoOrcGot_a_question? 20:04, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

Oh, that's a good thing to keep around a baby! :) Congrats! --Arch-Mage MattTalk 22:03, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

() Thanks y'all! I'm so excited! And thanks TAO... I will love him and hug him and squeeze him and pet him and call him George. ;) --GKtalk2me 00:17, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

(AMM) I figured having a Daedroth around would save GK some worrying about what happens if someone breaks in. Don't have to worry about the alarm system breaking you know? :D--TheAlbinoOrcGot_a_question? 07:08, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
that's good news!congratulations!(those cookies may help at times!)--GUM!!! 18:55, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, y'all! --GKtalk2me 16:57, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

Just a character creation question[edit]

I just wanted to know does the age/height of your character affect its jumping height and running speed?

E.g. a young/short wood elf compared to a old/tall wood elf. Kind Regards Ben --58.168.70.17 11:39, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
No, as long as the determining skills are the same, so should be the height/length of the jump.--Corevette789 16:48, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Thanks that helped me a lot :) And congrats on baby

Kind Regards Ben 58.168.70.17 21:30, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Actually, as I recall, height does have an effect on your overall speed, though I can't seem to find the discussion at the moment. It's hinted at in the talk page for Movement Formulas though. Robin Hoodtalk 22:01, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Userboxes[edit]

How do I contribute an official userbox for the wiki? (Gadianzero 03:59, 2 August 2010 (UTC))

First of all, ensure that it is wanted enough and would be used enough (as in, used by other editors) to warrant creation in the template namespace, rather than just a userbox on your userpage. Then, create the userbox in the template namespace, similar to Template:User Patroller. Let me know if you have any questions. --GKtalk2me 19:08, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

Regarding Frostcrag Spire glitch[edit]

I was reading about the Frostcrag Spire glitch (taking you to the test area) and saw that you can re-download the plug-in for free after you delete it. How many times are you allowed to do this? Is it only the once, or is there no limit? Also, if you can download it an unlimited number of times, can you perform the same glitch a number of times, for example go and get the Mace of Doom and lots of Sigil Stones, then go back and get more Sigil Stones later on?

So far as I know, it can be re-downloaded an unlimited number of times, but I don't know for sure. I know I've had to re-download some of my DLCs three and four times. --GKtalk2me 16:57, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
Ah, thanks for that! Congratulations on your kid by the way -:) Spikelovesmetal 19:09, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
Thanks! :) --GKtalk2me 00:32, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Mobile Games[edit]

Hey GK. I have uploaded two new logos for the mobile games: Dawnstar and Stormhold. They are both the exact same size and hopefully, they will make your current project at bit easier - and the layout a bit better. :) --Krusty 05:30, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

TES Travels[edit]

Hiya mommy ;) (get used to it!)

Krusty and I had a brainstorm on IRC and tweaked your TES Travels page so it looks like this. Whaddya think? It's a little bit style-over-substance, but then again it's unlikely to change any time soon so a little sprinkling of style won't hurt.

Feel free to slag me off for changing your page :)

Hope you're both well. rpeh •TCE 23:52, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

I think it looks great! The only thing that seems a little out of place is the Oblivion Mobile description; it seems less a description of the story of the game than the others, but perhaps that's to be expected. In any case, it's much easier on the eyes, now. Looking at it a little more, would there be any way to get rid of the whitespaces? Not a necessity, but it might look even better.
Also, yes, we're both doing well, thanks! Better than I had expected! Plus, when I have to stop working in a few months, at least I'll have a little leisure time for the wiki before the baby gets here.
PS: If anyone wants to get me a baby shower gift ;) I *really* need that Steam Deluxe edition of Oblivion. I tried to redownload from Direct2Drive after I re-installed Windows, but the option's not there and I'm not having much luck contacting them. Just a thought... :) --GKtalk2me 02:24, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
All the descriptions come from the game pages, so tweaking the <onlyinclude> tags - or changing them to nowiki/includeonly might work better. The whitespace is a problem, but there's no easy fix. The best fix is adding more text! Maybe a border round each section would help, but I was already overdosin' on the style...
Good to hear that GuildSquire isn't causing too much trouble. Don't forget that TES already comes with one lesson, and I'm sure we could expand it as Squire grows into his or her first set of armor!
Take care. rpeh •TCE 03:01, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
Actually, the whitespace that bothers me isn't the space between the blocks of text, but the space above/below the images.
I'll look at tweaking the descriptions on the game pages in the next few days, probably. I don't want to duplicate the Oblivion game page too much, but I think it would help to expand it a little. --GKtalk2me 03:09, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
We tried it with the text going under the images and it looked worse. Honest! rpeh •TCE 03:18, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

100 down, a lot more to go :)[edit]

You have been given a gold star!

It is with great honour and pleasure that I award this star, for the exceptional work you've done on the OBNPCRP. Thanks to you, we've managed to reach an important mark: 100 completed NPC pages! Great job! --SerCenKing Talk 20:31, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

Thanks! --GKtalk2me 00:10, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
