Oblivion Character Planner (aka OCP)[edit]

Official Home of OCP: http://ocp.uesp.net

About OCP[edit]

OCP is a browser-based tool that evaluates the potential maximums of any new or existing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion character. Aside from being a fun exercise, failure to plan your character's creation and leveling path will almost certainly ensure that your character will get comparatively weaker as you level up.

My goal in RPGs is to play smartly such that I get more powerful as I gain knowledge and level up. Unfortunately, this is all but impossible for players new to Oblivion. Checking for help on the net, I found lots of discussion and character templates, but nothing that fully examined the impact of my choices.

The only complete solution is a tool that not only lets you pick the starting configuration of your character, but also simulates what will happen as you level up. Because this is such a daunting task, no such tool has ever done it... until I wrote OCP!

OCP presents a complete menu of race, birthsign, and class choices letting you zoom in on the best ones for you. As you build your character, OCP automatically simulates leveling up and analyzes the results for you. This immediate feedback makes it simple to tweak your character for maximum effectiveness. And if you have an existing character, OCP can be used to analyze the impact of your future leveling choices.

OCP is the essential Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion character planning tool!

OCP Feedback[edit]

OCP is still in beta, but all existing features are 100% functional. Unfortunately, only the FireFox browser is officially supported, but all other major browsers will be explicitly supported in future versions.

Feel free to give any feedback or suggestions via my talk page, UESP forum posts, UESP forum PMs, or by emailing me (my email address is available in OCP if you aren't a registered UESP user).
