ESO:

• PTS was patched. Notably you can now finish the main quest for the Reach!
• We crossed the Threshold of 68% on the Lost Treasures of Skyrim event.
  • So far the markings and vale fawn have been unlocked
  • I’m suspicious that that bar doesn’t actually do anything, we didn’t get a hard number of how many antiquities we needed to do.
    • It’s definitely an actual number - Rich Lambert got drunk in Ninja614’s stream the other night. He wouldn’t tell us the actual number but said “it’s a big number”. -- baratron
    • Well I don’t trust it :P
  • Event continues until October 5th at 10am EDT / 2pm GMT.
  • The first time you complete a Western Skyrim daily quest each day, you’ll receive a Bulging Box of Gray Host Pillage reward box. These have a chance of Blackreach Vanguard Motif Chapters, Greymoor Motif Chapters, NEW Sovngarde Style pages and Greymoor furnishing recipes.
  • Subsequent Western Skyrim daily quests, defeating delve and world bosses in W. Skyrim and Blackreach, completing Harrowstorms, etc grant standard Boxes of Gray Host Pillage.

Topic: The Reach

• Reachmen:
  • Previous Encounters with Reachmen
    • Glenumbra - The Bloodthorn Cult led by Angof the Gravesinger allied themselves with the Coven of Hag Fen and seeked to Conquer Glenumbra with Zombies. He resurrects Faolchu, a werewolf from the first era, to do his bidding. Using Faolchu he attempts to turn many into werewolves in Camlorn
    • Bangkorai - The Dark Witness clan attempts to take the city of Evermoor and upper part of Bangkorai
    • The Rift - Three clans with the help of the worm cult invaded the Rift. The Boneshaper, Rageclaw, and Stonetalon clan invade the Rift and help the Worm cult steal and break Wuuthrad from the companion. They also assist in resurrecting the giant Sinmur.
    • Craglorn/Falkreath - The Dreadhorn clan allied themselves with Minotaur Domihaus the Bloody-Horned and attempted to conquer Falkreath. They also attempted to use the Blood forge to increase their power with Nirncrux from Craglorn.
    • Wrothgar - Winterborn clan ruled the wrothgarian mountains during the rule of the Longhouse emperors. They attempt to retake Wrothgar from the orcs with their leader Urfon Ice-Heart.
    • Western Skyrim-  
    • Eastmarch - There is a member of the icereach coven who is encountered and defeated in Direfrost Keep. There is a prophecy from a previous witch Henghild that a New Ice Queen shall arrive to anguish the Direfrost clan and leave them in tatters after their savior comes to release them.(this has not yet come to pass)
  • The Longhouse Emperors
    • Durcorach Conquered Bangkorai and Cyrodiil and led an invasion of High rock sieging Wayrest. He was killed by Emeric.
    • Moricar the Middling attempted to conquer Western Skyrim during his reign but was driven off by King Svargrim.
    • Leovic enabled Daedric worship which caused Varen's rebellion and his eventual downfall.
    • One of the major Advisors to Leovic the Icereach Coven clan was driven north to near Falkreath before the Imperials gave up chase.
  • Faolan Red Eagle
    • High lord of the reach - conquered 10 kings of the reach
    • story originates around 1E 1030 - one year after the fall of the Gray Host
    • Hestra, Empress of Cyrodiil conquered each of the 10 kings
    • Made a pact with hagravens for power and fought Hestra's army driving them away
    • oath to return and lead them again.
    • "Curiously, stories of a similar king and his legendary blade appear in other ancient myths of the Reach." from Legend of Red Eagle. - It may be possible that the sword is a Thu'um or Shehai which explains why there are several stories of similar reachmen. Something passed on from one to another.
    • Red Eagle's sword was returned to his tomb. (The Red Curse"
    • Daughter of Red Eagle Bjora was taken in by Nords. The reachmen attempt a ritual to make her a queen of the reach to take Red Eagle’s place and reunite the clans with the gray Host
  • Ard Caddach, The Despot of Markarth
    • Had dealings with the Black Worm Cult including mannimarco and Javad Tharn
    • Javad was the son of Euraxia Tharn who ruled Elsweyr. He was eventually defeated in Reaper's March while on a campaign. He was responsible for corrupting the previous mane.
    • *mentioned in Empeorers Guide to Tamriel by Flaccus Terentius
• The Reach:
  • The Reach is a Region between High Rock and Skyrim that is constantly changing hands.
  • Markarth: A dwarven City that has been occupied. Nchuand-Zel is the Dwarven ruins below the city. This ruin was the one Flaccus Terentius found himself in.
  • Dwemer: There were several dwarven clans of Skyrim that involved themselves in a civil war due to Aetherium.
• The Gray Host:
  • Originated in Velkarth in Hammerfell
  • Velkarth was ruled by the Grey council before it became the Grey Host at which point it was ruled by King Styriche.
  • Started to expand and ended in Bangkorai
  • In 1E1029 attempted to invade Cyrodiil Hestra killed several generals in Cyrodiil and drove them to bankorai
  • St Pelin helped to save Bangkorai garrison until Hestra's forces arrived
  • Rada Al Saran one of the exarchs who escaped from the battle of Evermore with the help of a Direnni who became Lady Thorn
