Is this even possible?[edit]

I've not managed to complete this without using the console. It must be one of the buggiest quests ever to make an appearance. First, your allies - supposed to be separated from you at this point - keep turning up. Then it's almost impossible to see what each button affects. I'm seriously considering making the walkthrough:

  1. Open the console
  2. tcl
  3. unlock

And screw doing it properly.

Has anyone completed this quest without cheating? –RpehTCE 19:53, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Hmmm, I don't know what you mean by "your allies - supposed to be separated from you at this point - keep turning up". Your allies need to be there to activate the four thrones. And also, what are the "buttons"? Are you maybe referring to Another Door? In this case you are right, the allies do follow you around. Anyway, yes, I managed to complete the whole Stirk questline without ever using the console. --SerCenKing Talk 20:44, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Yes, i have finished this without cheating, albet it was buggy, and i did get annoyed with it. the puzzle itself is all about guess and check overall. the redguard ally (dont remember his name since its been a few months) followed me up somehow. they are not *technically* required for the thrones, since if they arent all there, then the lich that shows up will just float around, then you will be free after a bit, and when you leave the room, whomever was missing will end up outside, freshly dead infront of you. all in all though, this mod was a bit buggy ovrall, even suffering from the I HAVE NO GREETING glitch in the part where an ally is supposed to guide you when you are blind.
