Goals[edit]

Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul and Martigen's Monster Mod both include Gems and Geomancy. It would be better if they were pushed down into COBL. As of version 1.10, this is in progress, though there will be some changes from the way it's scripted in the original mods. (Specifically, individual gems will not be scripted. Turgothh's gem dust ingredients have been added, and Momaw has agreed to allow geomancy spells to be included. --Wrye 02:38, 21 October 2007 (EDT)

As per private discussion between Wrye and Momaw (author of Geomancy), Cobl Geomancy will function essentially the same as in Momaw's original design. I.e. if the player has knowledge of geomancy, then they will automatically gain the amplied geomantic spells. However, the spells will be added by a quest script rather than by scripting individual gems. (It is hoped that by not scripting gems, some performance gain will be achieved, also compatibility with other mods will be enhanced.) --Wrye 21:39, 24 October 2007 (EDT)

Voting[edit]

Gems and Geomancy project predates the advisory board. (Hence, no voting.)

Status[edit]

Cobl 1.10 contains Turgothh's gem dust ingredients. These have not been placed in the leveled lists, but can be produced from appropriate materials by using grinders.

Geomancy is not yet implemented. --Wrye 21:39, 24 October 2007 (EDT)
