Section[edit]

Probably should get a section for towns and settlements, although there is practically nothing to write about, it might be worth having the namespace. RIM 20:45, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

Well, we have a section in the template for Towns and Cities. A settlement one could be wise. And I presume just a list (categorzied by size/type) could be made in line with the OB Places article? --Kiz ·•· Talk ·•· Contribs ·•· Mail ·•· 20:49, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
I was just responding to legoless's question, but I think it wouldn't be a bad idea as long as people don't mind having a practically empty page. RIM 20:54, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
My question was more rhetorical, and was concerning listing the forts separately on this template. A settlements page doesn't sound like a bad idea, though. --Legoless 21:31, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
Yes, we'll want to have a page at Skyrim:Settlements listing the towns, in a format similar to Skyrim:Cities -- which is why links to both of those pages are part of the template. However, I think forts will probably warrant their own separate list, at Skyrim:Forts -- Morrowind forts are listed separately from the towns, for example. --NepheleTalk 02:08, 5 October 2011 (UTC)

Holds[edit]

I feel like the holds pages ought to have one of these pretty footers, too. Any thoughts on either adding holds to this template or making a separate one for the holds? eshetalk 12:40, 4 April 2012 (UTC)

Forts[edit]

I believe that the fort section is incomplete, and that it should include all the forts that are taken over during the civil war, as they seem to be the most relevant to 'settlements'. Vos 06:06, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

Do we even want forts on this footer? They were added before the game was released, but now we have a full list at Skyrim:Military Forts. I think they should be removed. —Legoless 16:03, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
I don't think there should be forts on here. I don't think they can really be described as settlements, in this case, as all you do is attack them, typically. It's kind of interesting that High Hrothgar and Sky Haven Temple are marked as forts on here, though. Vely►t►e 16:19, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
I agree that 'Forts' should be removed from this footer. I've been editing quite a number of 'fort' articles lately, and realised that only a few have this footer, while the rest don't. Seeing that nobody opposed the removal for like a month, I'll be removing the 'Forts' part from the template now, and I'll also remove the footers from any 'fort' articles. ~ Psylocke 09:16, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
I agree with that, but can we add all the small, minor settlements and townships to this? just as was done for Oblivion? Vos 09:38, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
