Imperial Organization?[edit]

Why is the Blackwood Company included in the list of Imperial Guilds? An Imperial organization, to me, would be one that was commissioned by, sanctioned by, and/or owned and operated by or on behalf of the Empire. The Blackwood Company meets none of these criteria; it was neither commissioned, sanctioned, nor run by the Empire and had no Imperial affiliation: on the contrary, it was a renegade organization which operated in direct competition to the Imperial-commissioned Fighter's Guild. Just because it was headquartered in Leyawiin and operated in Cyrodiil doesn't automatically make it an Imperial organization. Propose that this organization be removed from the template. — Wolfborn(Howl) 06:37, 4 September 2021 (UTC)

I'm fine with keeping it on the template as it was an organization within Leyawiin and within Cyrodiils Borders while I agree it wasn't a Imperial organization per say. It was however a criminal organization within Cyrodiil, and so what I did was move it from guilds to crime. I don't think it has a Guild Act contract with the Empire. At least we have no lore that it does. It did however had members that were deserters from the Imperial Legion, so it is connected to the Imperials in that way.TheVampKnight (talk) 11:10, 25 October 2021 (UTC)

What Qualifies[edit]

I think we should define what counts as an Imperial Organization on this page (in a pair of noinclude tags of course, so as not to be transcluded with the template). Are we aiming for institutions sanctioned and chartered by the Empire? Are they official organizations associated with the Empire? What are we putting here and why? -MolagBallet (talk) 03:08, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
