Iulian Septimus is an unlucky Imperial pauper who lives in a small house near the Imperial Archaeological Society's building in Helnim. He is understandably distressed by the state of his home. Not only is the basement flooded with murky water, but scattered pieces of iron armor and what appears to be a human skull can be seen in the water.

He wears a common shirt with a matching pair of pants. Although he lacks shoes, he wears two modest accessories: a common amulet and a common belt.

Dialogue[edit]

  • Greeting:
"Ah, yes, er... hello. Don't mind the basement. I'm... I'm working on that."
"You again? What are you interested in me for?
  • Helnim:
"Cursed place. But then, so's every place I've ever chosen to set up a house. I guess it's just me."
  • latest rumors:
"Ack, you think I've time for rumors? I've gotta see about doing something, anything, with this basement problem."
  • little advice:
"Sure, I'll take any advice I can get. Oh, for you? Well, what do you think I've got to advise you on?"
  • little secret:
"When I bought this house, I just *knew* something bad was going to happen. But, then again... it always does, really."
  • my trade:
"You think a guy like me has a trade?"
  • Services:
"I really don't know."
  • someone in particular:
"What good would it do for me to tell you?"
  • specific place:
"How would I know?"
