Notes: acrobatics won't increase if PC is under Slowfall 1 effect
*There is a bug associated with this effect which makes it a very bad idea to use it on NPCs or creatures, particularly when an NPC or creature is following you and you go through a door into a new cell. For some reason, the Slowfall effect will work in reverse, and ''increase'' the amount of damage they will take. This bug can often be fatal, so it's never a good idea to use this spell on anyone but yourself.
*Slowfall is best when combined with [[Morrowind:Jump|Jump]] and/or [[Morrowind:Fortify Skill|Fortify Acrobatics]]. These spells allow you to jump much higher, while Slowfall makes you fall slower, without decreasing your rate of horizontal speed, meaning that you can go ''much'' further with each jump. With enough of these effects, you can even jump from one corner of the map to the other in a single bound.
*Any value of Slowfall will make you completely immune to fall damage. A Constant Effect enchantment of 1 point of Slowfall will eliminate fall damage from any height, while having no effect on fall speed. Be advised that while under this effect, Acrobatics will not increase through jumping and/or falling.
*There is a bug in the game engine associated with Slowfall and 3D Hardware Accelerated audio. If the PC creates or has created an item with Slowfall as a Constant Effect, all sound effects will have their pitch severely distorted. This will only occur once such an item is created - once this happens, it no longer matters whether the item is equipped or even in the player's inventory - the distortion of audio will persist. This only occurs when the 3D Audio setting is on "Hardware Acceleration." Switching to "Software Mode" 3D Audio will remove the distortion, but the effect will return if 3D Audio is returned to "Hardware Acceleration."
