List of Locations?[edit]

I'm wondering if someone can get a list of Warlock Caves, Dungeons etc assemble. Like what is on the Vampire page. Lord Eydvar 01:09, 21 January 2012 (UTC)

I'll give it a go. I came here looking for one myself. As I find them, I'll add the info to the page. ^_^

Justification for the term "Warlock"[edit]

There is nothing in the game directly called "Warlock", but it appears often in editor IDs. There is WarlockFaction (CSList) and the loot list LootWarlockRandom. But as far as I can see places don't contain generic warlocks as described here, but either specific types or "Elemental Warlocks" (Fire, Ice or Storm: CSList). --Alfwyn (talk) 20:12, 16 February 2013 (GMT)

Warlock is not widely used in Skyrim, but it is a common term in Tamriel. We have Sild the Warlock in Skyrim, A Warlock's Luck quest in Oblivion, Morrowind:Warlock's Ring in Morrowind (also in Daggerfall and Arena), Warlock NPCs in Daggerfall. There is nothing wrong with using the name in Skyrim, and no reason to avoid its simply due to there not being an NPC called Warlock in the game. Plus they are referenced in Skyrim dialogue "Arkay says you'll be facing warlocks." and "Warlocks practice all sorts of foul sorcery. We should proceed with caution.". Yes, but that is not really my point. Sure it is a valid word. I try to find out, if it is a useful term to have an article about in the Skyrim namespace. That is, what content should we have here, and what would link to here. Currently it looks like I'd rather would like to link to "Elemental Warlock" instead in some cases. But we might see clearer if we re-check the pages linking to here. It might be the logical place to describe the loot list though, since all the warlocks share it. --Alfwyn (talk) 20:37, 16 February 2013 (GMT)
I think it's a good term to use. This page links to the different types of caster enemies, and there seems to be enough justification to use the term. —Legoless (talk) 22:06, 16 February 2013 (GMT)
