Twister movie reference in The Retching Netch[edit]

First, forgive me, I've never written on a Wiki like this before, so I'm very sorry if I make a mistake.

I don't know if anyone caught onto this yet, however when Geldis is telling the story about how the inn got it's name, he tells of a story about a naked drunk tossing a bottle and "it never hit the ground."

This is a very obvious crack (literally, the only things changed are the character in the story and what the drink was thrown at) at the movie "Twister," in which a story is told by a character called 'Dusty,' at the main character's Aunt's place about the main male character. The story 'Dusty' tells, is that the main character (Bill) was drunk and completely naked while a tornado was coming near him. As the tornado neared, he chucked the bottle of whiskey at it and "it never hit the ground."

Hope this helps!~

Only bed granting well rested on Solstheim?[edit]

I see a note is added about rented beds here being the only on Solstheim granting the Well Rested bonus. I am not at a position where I can start the game and test right now, but does not the beds in Severin Manor grant the bonus too, once the Manor is acquired? —MortenOSlash (talk) 05:35, 10 September 2013 (GMT)

Incorrect information[edit]

"The Retching Netch got its name several years ago, when Geldis saw one of his patrons staggering around the docks with a bottle of sujamma while naked and singing loudly about his great power and success with women." - This part should be deleted. The patron never bragged about his great power and success with women.

Geldis says:

"There's actually a funny story behind the name, friend. A few years ago, I was walking down by the docks and I noticed a Dunmer staggering along with a bottle of sujamma in hand. He was one of my patrons, and liked to drink heavily, so I wasn't exactly surprised... Ah, but you see this particular Dunmer was as naked as the day he was born and singing badly at the top of his lungs. As I'm watching this spectacle, a netch floats over the Bulwark towards him. The man looks straight up at the netch... yells 'have a drink' and tosses the bottle... and it never hit the ground... Well, the bottle broke on the netch, and it must have swallowed its contents because it started floating sort of tilted. Finally, it stopped and began to quiver. A few moments later, the foulest liquid to ever assail your nostrils spewed from its maw. I've seen plenty of drunks in my day, and I'll tell you right now that netch was sick." — Unsigned comment by 109.111.230.187 (talk) at 09:19 on 21 December 2021 (UTC)

bed sends you to a All-Maker stone[edit]

Sleeping in the bed sends you to a stone--is this a bug? — Unsigned comment by 76.182.6.180 (talk) at 19:24 on 30 December 2022 (UTC)

No, this is Miraak's influence bending your will and happens all across Solstheim until you end the threat. —Legoless (talk) 09:24, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
