Should the quest Mourning Never Comes be included in the related quests here because Muiri lives here? --Halfstache 05:50, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

Safe Storage[edit]

After marrying Muiri and telling her we'll stay at her home (I've not bought my own yet), I proceeded to dump all my loot into the chest at the foot of the bed. After questing through the remaining bits of my Thieves Guild line I returned to the chest to pick up some goodies for smithing. Everything except a few notes were gone. Even the bits of Nightingale armor that I don't wear. Even Chillrend. And all the random enchanted weapons and armor that I was going to disenchant up at the College. Potions, ingredients, armor, weapons ... all gone.

I loaded up a save point just prior to my entering the Guild as before. Instead of going into the Cistern, I headed to Markarth and the chest. Everything was there.

I am wondering if this chest is timed. I hadn't been to it in quite some time, though I didn't think to note the exact time. (Note to self: do this in the future.) Cmdr haggis 03:37, 9 March 2012 (UTC)

It sounds as if that was an unsafe container. An unsafe container will reset after enough time has past (often 30 days) eliminating any contents and replacing it with whatever the container is supposed to have. Coronus 04:10, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
Currently testing the chest located in the main room of The Hag's Cure. It's in a corner near the dining table, just off the steps down from the entrance. Cmdr haggis 05:23, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
