Rare salt pile[edit]

Can we get some verification on the rare salt pile being in-game? --Velyanthe 01:08, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

It's listed in the game data and it's even enabled from the start of the game (sometimes quest-related items are there but disabled until the appropriate quest is started). Its coordinates are x=-568, y=-944, z=328. Which suggests on the second floor, somewhere in the southwest section. --NepheleTalk 03:35, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Moving to the pile with player.moveto 1da40 it is there, but well outside of the regular cell. Not sure if some events will move it, setstaging through MS03 up to 20 prior to entering the house didn't change the location however. It was outside of the regular cell for another save where the quest was finished long ago, too. --Alfwyn 16:15, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
That pile has the EDID MS03IngredientREF, but nothing else is hinting at the quest, the REFR has no interesting fields. It may be a leftover from something planned, I don't know. But there is simply no reference to the REFR 0001da40 from anywhere in the game data I can see. --Alfwyn 22:03, 29 January 2012 (UTC)

Secret Ingredient[edit]

A few months ago I was looking through the creation kit, and noticed that in one of the Black Briar cells (Not sure if it was the manor or meadery) there was a salt pile behind the wall with an EditorID of something like "SecretIngredient". This is probably the wrong place to put this query, but should this be mentioned at all or is it just a little dev-joke? - KINMUNETALK﴿ 12:41, 17 August 2016 (UTC)

It's the rare salt pile on the page, and the one being discussed above, "MS03BlackBriarSecretIngredient". It seems more like something planned for the quest than a dev-joke given the MS03 part of the editor id. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 12:52, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
