Hostile Wisps/Wispmother and Access[edit]

Can we please confirm the note about the hostile Wisps/Wispmother? When I visited this ruin I only found a trio of Wisps which seem perfectly happy to leave me alone, but there's no sign of a Wispmother. Also, the easiest way up to the ruin that I found was through the Darklight tower, otherwise the only routes up seem to involve lots of rock climbing. There is a barrow to the West with a troll inside, but that also appears to be inaccessible except through Darklight tower, except via awkward climbing. I'm going to edit some of these things into the appropriate articles, but if anyone knows other good routes then please mention them! Haravikk 12:36, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

There was the wispmother there when I went, along with three wisps. The wisps left me alone until the wispmother saw me. Evlydia 06:06, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
In the Creation Kit, I see a Wispmother there, and I don't see anything that would get rid of her. Maybe you just got lucky and she'd been killed by something else before you got there. Robin Hoodtalk 07:40, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
Try approaching while Sneaking? (My character Sneak skill is level 100). He only had a trio of non-hostile Wisps. Then I turned Sneak off and had him walk towards the lantern again - that triggered the appearance of the Wispmother. baratron (talk) 21:48, 1 July 2013 (GMT)

W-Why did you take their pants off?[edit]

Sorry, South Park reference, couldn't resist. Both the "Hag" corpses at the ruins had Black Mages Robes in their inventories, yet the robes were unequipped. This true for anyone else? It could be a generic bug/circumstance unspecific to the ruins, I don't know. But if not, their unexplained nakedness might be noteworthy. Minor EditsThreatsEvidence 05:06, 10 October 2012 (GMT)

Seems like your encounter was merely a one-time bug. Couldn't confirm this, tried a couple of saves. --109.246.247.215 19:14, 14 February 2013 (GMT)
Yes, they're supposed to wear leveled warlock clothing, which is always black robes, enchanted or not. Vely►t►e 20:42, 14 February 2013 (GMT)
I also found the dead hags weren't wearing their clothing. I'll go ahead and add it as a bug. --Xyzzy Talk 15:27, 18 May 2013 (GMT)

Incomplete respawn[edit]

I have cleared this place. Many days later,I visited there again. The chest respawned while the wispmother/wisps didn't show up.Is this all right?

I have discovered that thing too, at least at PC - version, i cleared it in year 401 and came to see it in 403, and the loot had respawned but not the wisp - things. Only cores were there. Same thing with North Skybound Watch and that one place near Journeyman's Nook.
