Disapearance[edit]

On my second playthrough when I got to this quest the body just didn't show up and there is no quest marker either. I had the quest The Path of Knowledge active at the point where i go talk to Neloth. I talked to him and he gave me the quest to find verona and then to follow him to Nchardak we both got out and I then realized Verona was nowhere to be found witch makes the black book in Tel Mithryn unoptainable. Had this happen too...I am thinking if I don't find her soon to just prid her or console the quest stage. 24.24.179.187 14:00, 2 March 2013 (GMT)
Same here. I used the console to move to her location (which was the cell where dead NPCs go). Then I just searched her body, and tadaa the next stage of the quest started. Then used player.moveto to get back out.Zzyzx (talk) 04:02, 9 March 2013 (GMT)
which I assume means it's uncompletable if playing on a console...damnit!Pizza boy (talk) 05:03, 18 March 2013 (GMT)
New Location?!? I found her body at the bottom of the ramp to the apothecary. No quest marker at all, I was just on my way to question Elynera. (Xbox) --Janbrook4 (talk) 07:15, 14 January 2014 (GMT)

Typo?[edit]

In the Quick Walkthrough Varona is spelled Varona, while in the bugs section, her name is spelt Verona. I have no access to Dragonborn, so I can't confirm the spelling to edit the typo. 46.7.219.195 17:38, 6 January 2013 (GMT)

The objectives have been copied, and she has her own page. I changed them to Varona. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 17:42, 6 January 2013 (GMT)

Dragon attack[edit]

This quest actually triggered when she was unfortunate enough to be outside when a n ancient dragon spawned outside of Tel Mithryn. It showed up with the dialogue saying that I found her dead on the road to Raven Rock (even though she was just milling about in the town). Anyways, I didn't know if it was worth noting, but I figured I'd at least mention it here. Obviously, she's meant to die on the road to Raven Rock. Mikerobmma (talk) 13:39, 17 January 2013 (GMT)

Bralsa Drel[edit]

The following discussion is from Bralsa Drel's talk page. I had the same experience as TheRealLurlock. --Morrolan (talk) 13:03, 16 March 2013 (GMT)

Bralsa Drel talk page discussion

If you give her skooma will she become Neloth's steward? Keanonbrooks (talk) 21:39, 12 January 2013 (GMT)keanonbrooks

It seems like she's an alcoholic, not a Skooma addict. No, she won't become Neloth's steward. The only willing person to take such a magnificent post is Drovas Relvi. --Arkhon (talk) 08:32, 16 February 2013 (GMT)
She may not be a Skooma addict, but she certainly appreciates the gift if you give her some. If you ask her about the stewards position she says "Would he give me skooma? I might do it for some skooma." but she turns the positon down even if you give her some, "Skooma! Lovely skooma. But I'd sooner give it up than go work for her." Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 14:04, 16 February 2013 (GMT)
I see that line in the CK, but I couldn't get it to happen in game - even when I had skooma, I couldn't give it to her, she only says "Come back when you do". I wonder if it only works if you have skooma the first time you ask her. At any rate - interesting that she thinks Neloth is a "her". I'd chalk it up as a typo, but then as drug-addled as she is, it could just be the sujamma talking... TheRealLurlock (talk) 15:19, 16 February 2013 (GMT)
And today I tried recruiting her with a PC that had 2 bottles of Skooma in inventory. No dice, I just got the "Sorry, I don't have any" dialogue line when she asked for Skooma. --Morrolan (talk) 15:48, 20 March 2013 (GMT)

NPC's don't go to heaven/hell[edit]

I couldn't find her body and after an hour of running around the hils above Tel Mithryn I've decided to use the console. After locating a proper ID, and using the 'moveto' command I found myself in a eerily green-tinted, unfinished dungeon corridor intersection filled with naked NPC bodies, two coffins, and two living NPC's (Alvor*, and a naked dunmer I didn't recognize). Among them was pretty much every named NPC that died, including for example Ancano, and Nepos the Nose. That cell was WIDeadBodyCleanupCell, where most named NPCs go when they die as a part of the game mechanics. Although that shouldn't happen to Varona before you find her, I suppose... -- SarthesArai Talk 19:05, 25 January 2014 (GMT)
