There is also a strongbox in the Frossel cave, as well as one at the top of the Riekling Structure on the island to the Northwest of Frossel. — Unsigned comment by 69.140.11.153 (talk) at 05:01 on 11 December 2012‎
  1. to the left of the entrance of Ashfallow Citadel, on some shelves.
  2. Moestring Pass, on top of an end table that's on its side.
  3. outside the glacial cave, next to some barrels.
  4. Brodir Grove.
  5. Haknir's Shoal, inside a tent.
  6. Frossel cave (as noted above), to the left after the first tripwire trap. It's next to some crates, half buried in snow.
  7. NW of Frossel cave, on the Riekling island, inside the guard tower. It's the highest point on the island.
  8. Off the coast of Horker Island. If you jump from the deck of the broken ship on the east coast in to the water and swim to the bottom, it will be on the left, next to a treasure chest.
I think there's one at Hrodulf's House, as well. 76.187.151.6 04:56, 12 December 2012 (GMT)
There's another one on a crate outside the entrance to Broken Tusk Mine. — Unsigned comment by 69.140.11.153 (talk) at 23:06 on 18 December 2012‎
It has been confirmed in game data that there are 33 total locations. Each of these locations has now been added in this section of the quest page. — ABCface 05:02, 20 December 2012 (GMT)

Is completion possible?[edit]

It seems there must be a finite number of pendants, since their chests don't respawn and they don't seem to occur as random loot. Assuming this is true, does anyone know if you can collect them all and complete the quest? And if so, is there a reward for doing so? Thanks. Username12345 (talk) 12:32, 16 December 2012 (GMT)

I was wondering this myself. I thought I had them all, but the quest entry is still in my log. Is there a way to check how many you've found? An invisible merchant chest somewhere? When I tried pickpocketing him, they didn't show in his inventory. SonGoharotto (talk) 16:23, 23 December 2012 (GMT)
Pretty sure I've handed in all of them but the entry is still there. Adding 100 more with the console and handing them didn't complete the quest. Killing him or using setstage DLC2RRFavor05 250 fails the objective, removing it from the quest log. Kotekzot (talk) 08:10, 8 February 2013 (GMT)
Well that's a shame...If I had known that I would have just killed him and then kept a few for my self. Anyway, thanks! I'll consider this question answered! --BlackhawkXIII (talk) 21:20, 8 February 2013 (GMT)

Glover Mallory's Box[edit]

IIRC, this box is marked as owned. I was able to take certain things out of it (a stamina potion and the Pendant) without them being considered stolen, but the gemstones in the box were red. Anyone able to verify? 70.122.236.143 02:26, 27 December 2012 (GMT)

I thought I remembered that when writing out that table, but I wasn't positive, so I didn't mark it. I meant to make a talk page post specifically about that, but forgot about it, so thanks for bringing it up. I'll go ahead and add it to the article. — ABCface 03:37, 27 December 2012 (GMT)

Replacing his store[edit]

does anyone know if someone else takes over his shop if you kill him? I don't like lingering quests in the log and would like to silently off him, but don't want to lose a merchant in raven rock, as solstheim has so few already. (Seventhsage (talk) 18:52, 27 February 2013 (GMT))

Pendants on the online map[edit]

All outdoor locations can be seen on the (map) now. But that doesn't show any mapmarkers for orientation and I'm not sure it is more useful than the description and map images already given. --Alfwyn (talk) 20:01, 14 January 2014 (GMT)

Strongboxes don't respawn?[edit]

I've not seen anywhere with a flat yes or no answer just implications that the strongboxes don't respawn and was wondering if it's true. I'd like to use the one located in the wrecked ship as a temporary loot dump until I get the house but don't want to lose said loot beforehand. Any definitive agreement would be much appreciated--76.6.141.217 03:40, 23 July 2014 (GMT)

No, they don't respawn, so you should be okay. That said, there can sometimes be funky things going on in unexpected locations of the game code, so I won't say it's 100% safe...let's go with 99%. :) Robin Hood  (talk) 18:02, 23 July 2014 (GMT)
Thank you, very much and sorry for not checking here sooner. Yeah I know what you mean about the code. I've had things just totally disappear from chests I've bought for houses that are *supposed* to be 100% non-respawning so there's always a chance but I'll risk it haha Thanks again--76.6.141.217 01:16, 25 July 2014 (GMT)
I've tested this using the latest Unofficial Patch and have found that yes, they do respawn if they're in locations that respawn. The strongbox will be locked again, and there will be a new East Empire Pendant.FrozenWolf150 (talk) 00:12, 29 October 2015 (UTC)

Removing this quest from journal.[edit]

"It can only be removed from the journal by killing Fethis Alor or using the console." Can it be removed from the journal with console without failing it?

I think you can't.

Count[edit]

Is there any way to determine how many pendants I already gave him?
