Bug Note[edit]

Under bugs, the following is stated: "Sometimes, when you accept Madesi's quest to gather things for him, when you complete it, his quest marker disappears." Is this not what is suppose to happen upon completing a quest? 67.249.0.128 00:48, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

Usually, but in this case the quest marker disappears when you've gathered all the items but before you have delivered them to Madesi. Maybe the page should specify this? -- Wordmama 04:53, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
It looks like this was done at some point. See Ringmaker, Bugs section. Robin Hoodtalk 00:12, 17 January 2012 (UTC)

His name[edit]

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't his name more fitting for a female Khajiit rather than Argonian? I have a short memory for quest-givers, and when I was completing unfinished quests from my journal and read the description of the quest, I was 100% sure that it was given by a female Khajiit. - 85.222.89.208 18:36, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

Possibly. Would probably be better if discussed in the forums. Vely►Talk►Email 19:20, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

Land-Strider[edit]

My character was an Argonian, yet Madesi still referred to me as Land-Strider. Has anyone else encountered this bug?--PlatinumScale (talk) 17:17, 28 June 2013 (GMT)

It happened to me too, but I figured it is because I'm an argonian vampire, since vampires are treated as separate races. Terkup (talk) 17:45, 2 September 2013 (GMT)

Enchanted Ring or Necklace[edit]

Madesi usually has one enchanted ring or necklace the first time you go to see him, in my experience. The "sells" section only specifies his list of unenchanted, leveled rings and necklaces. — Unsigned comment by 71.245.65.4 (talk) at 15:35 on 3 July 2014

The "sells" section is intentionally unspecific because everyone will have different experiences with the game, so there's no telling what items he'll have when. We try to only list information that is accurate and verifiable on this site (i.e., something that happens every single time in every copy of the game), so we usually just point to leveled lists. Saying that his merchandise is randomly selected from a predetermined and level-dependent list of items is about as descriptive as we can get without sacrificing accuracy, so we don't list information about specific items.
