Location[edit]

I believe that the quest to recover her statue chooses a random Forsworn base, because while it says its at Broken Tower Redoubt here, I just had the quest tell me to go to Hag Rock Redoubt. --Halfstache 05:14, 29 November 2011 (UTC)

This is correct. Radiantly assigned updating page.--Bwross 08:12, 24 December 2011 (UTC)

Bug: Lisbet's Dibella Statue[edit]

If you kill Lisbet during The Taste of Death after doing the quest to return Lisbet's Dibella Statue, and you loot the statue from her corpse, it becomes stuck in your inventory, unable to be dropped because it is considered a quest item. — Unsigned comment by 75.34.55.137 (talk) at 01:31 on 6 January 2012

Lisbet's Will[edit]

I'm not sure if this only happened because of my disposition with her or because it's supposed to, but when I completed her shipment and had her killed during the taste of death, a courier showed up and handed me a will written by the Jarl saying that because of her "unfortunate death", I was compensated septims. Did this happen to anyone else? --DelosFandas 07:05, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

Yes, this can happen whenever an NPC dies that you were supposedly "friendly" with, even if it was you that killed them. I had this happen with Sibbe Black-Briar of all people, after murdering him in jail (just because I could, and because he's such a nasty piece of work that I don't want his mother contriving to have him released) - he becomes your "friend" if you tell him where his ex-girlfriend is hiding, even if you lie to him (being in jail, he can't tell the difference). Lisbet becomes your "friend" when you return her statue. In the same game I also managed to kill Ondolemar the Thalmor Justiciar, and his two guards, right in the middle of the Markarth palace... and received a letter of "inheritance" from him as well! (because I'd made a "friend" of him by completing his own quest to find evidence that Ogmund is a Talos worshipper. He will never act on that knowledge...)
Get double bonus points by doing the deed with the Ebony Blade from the Mephala quest, it counts as murdering a "friend" for powering up the blade. You can do this with Lisbet and possibly Ondolemar too if you can catch him alone. Not with Sibbe, because he's the wrong side of iron bars and an unpickable lock. --JLE 12:44, 11 May 2018 (UTC)
Also note that you could have become "friends" with Lisbet by another means, namely investing in her store with a Speech skill of 70 or higher. Returning her statue is the more usual means though. JLE (talk) 23:08, 18 July 2019 (UTC)

Her husband[edit]

What exactly happened to her husband? She says "It's a shame what happened to him" at the end of the Taste of Death. I'm guessing she killed and ate him. Definitely needs to die. --VSim 19:32, 28 February 2012 (UTC)

If you do her quest first, she'll say he was killed in a forsworn attack. Since the Dragonborn is at this point the Champion of Namira, she has no reason to lie about it, so he probably was killed by the forsworn. The "good taste" comment may mean that he introduced her to the coven, or that she ate his body after the forsworn killed him. — Unsigned comment by 50.102.212.112 (talk) at 23:30 on 2 September 2012
Although, whether or not you're the Champion of Namira, she's in her shop when she says her husband died in a Forsworn attack, so she has plenty of reason to lie about it - her other customers or employees might overhear. She only says the "he had such good taste" comment when at the actual Feast of Namira, so I'm in no doubt she ate him, whether or not she killed him or someone else did. JLE 12:48, 11 May 2018 (UTC)
Also, she admits to having eaten her brother, or at least his liver, at the feast, in conversation with other guests. She also talks about being almost ready to eat her servant (Imedhnain, though she doesn't name him) and blame it on the Forsworn... which makes her blaming of the Forsworn for her husband's death, at the very least, suspicious. Please help[edit]

I have a little problem. When i stand near Lisbet i can't start conversation with her. Option "press E to talk" isn't showing. I am not sure but I noticed this problem with 1.8 patch. Any help? Maybe some console commands? — Unsigned comment by 46.119.141.134 (talk) at 20:06 on 21 January 2013‎

When i attack her, her name isn't showing near her health bar. — Unsigned comment by 46.119.141.134 (talk) at 20:10 on 21 January 2013‎
Fixed. Please delete my question — Unsigned comment by 46.119.141.134 (talk) at 20:54 on 21 January 2013‎
I have the same problem, how do you fixed it ? --93.56.245.204 22:46, 17 February 2013 (GMT)

Note: Unavailable during quest[edit]

Has anyone else experienced Lisbet not being in her store the entire time the Taste of Death quest is active? I'd kept the quest active for a while and each visit to her store she wasn't there, only Imedhnain who wouldn't trade with me. Lisbet returned as soon as the quest completed. Was going to add this to the notes section, but wasn't sure how relevant it were to others. (using 360 btw) Toulmin (talk) 15:19, 17 May 2015 (GMT)
