Dead Adventurer?

At Deep Folk Crossing, if you follow the river East downstream, I was collecting nirnroots, and came across a dead Adventurer in robes laying face down at one of the banks. I can't find any mention of it in the World Interactions page, since there were no NPCs or creatures around, live or dead. No treasure note on the body, just clothes, some gold, and a skill book.

Has anyone else come across something similar, either at Deep Folk Crossing or some other location? Chocoholic (talk) 05:13, 16 September 2014 (GMT)

Which skill book was it? Looking at the map there is a copy of Withershins on some sort of ruins north of Harmugstahl by the river, but it is quite some distance from here. Silence is Golden^{Break the Silence} 11:13, 16 September 2014 (GMT)

Whereabouts along the river was he and on which side of the river north or south? I've had a look both sides, down as far as the skill book mentioned by The Silencer and added it to the unmarked places page as couldn't see it there. Was he right next to the river or in the river. I've checked the location with two different game files about 4 times, and each time I find a dead Adventurer in hooded robes. To find her, from Deep Folk Crossing follow the river downstream as it runs NE, go down one short waterfall and on the South bank before another fall you should find the body. It is usually female wearing a hooded robe (I always got Blue Hooded Robe), carrying usually a low-level One-Handed weapon (most often a dagger), small amount of gold, sometimes a soul gem, sometimes an alchemy ingredient, and usually a random book (possibly always a Skill Book). It is possible that the Adventurer may be a Nord or Breton - I've only seen a female with brown hair but I play on a console so I can't verify race. I hope this helps whoever can help verify whether the appearance is specific to this location. The body is usually still in the water, but washed up partly on the bank. Sometimes the body will shift and float down the river and over the other falls - I'm not sure just how far the body might move, since it's always happened after I looted the body and I didn't bother following it for long. Near the Dead Adventurer with Skyrim SE

Weird skeleton

A skeleton reassembled itself and just stood there. I could loot it to. this was on pc no mods. 172.89.64.13 23:37, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
