Some notes and bugs[edit]

If you steal Klija's pelts before siding with the Legion you'll meet a generic Stormcloak Champion at the battle. If you don't steal her pelts you'll meet her clone at the battle. In both cases the Klija in Kynesgrove will remain there even after the quest. Tried also giving Klija's pelts to Yrsarald and they were properly removed from my inventory. Now, if you don't like getting failed objectives in the journal you gotta steal Klija's pelts, then persuade Legate Caesennius and side with the Legion. If you side with the Stormcloaks you'll fail the persuade Legate objective and if you don't steal Klija's pelts before persuading the Legate you'll fail the steal pelts objective. Thanks for the info, I've updated the relevant pages, although we could still really do with an image of the generic Champion. Regarding the bug on the page, Yrsarald only fails to take any items off you if you try to use five of your own pelts. Klija's pelts work fine and will be removed. —Legoless (talk) 20:34, 5 January 2020 (GMT)

Arrived to the battle and the opposing champion isn't there. The marker is on the ground as if they're sunk / clipped through.

speech check of 50 is needed[edit]

After some testing on the xb1, I found out you need to have at least speech 50 to pass the check for the empire. --Maldini (talk) 16:25, 15 December 2021 (UTC)

when the courier arrives with the letter to start the quest[edit]

If you have sided with the Stormcloaks in the civil war you will not find the letter in The Drunken Huntsman nor any clues on how to proceed. Upon leaving the Huntsman, however, and regardless of time of day, you will immediately be met by the courier who will give you a letter that will trigger the quest. You will be prompted to read the letter. Cannot confirm this also works if you have sided with the Imperials.
