New Page[edit]

I felt we needed a page that lists in one place all of the various activities/jobs/trades/crafts that Bethesda has added to the game. But I'm not sure whether 'Activities' is the best name for the page. Any better suggestions?

I was also wondering whether we should mention some of the smaller game features we've heard about: e.g., swimming in rivers to catch fish; disposing of bodies in rivers and watching them float away. On the other hand, I don't want it to expand into a list of all the crazy things people come up with -- we don't need another 'Things to do When You're Bored' article. So can we come with a way to define what belongs and what doesn't, or should we just stick to "formally" defined activities? --NepheleTalk 23:23, 9 October 2011 (UTC)

Sorry I'm a bit late. How about when the Skyrim main page is finished, (the one with quests, combat, fame, magic, infamy, maps, services, character creation etc) this could go under a sub-heading called "miscellaneous activities" (probably spelled that wrong) or something like that. Also, there will probably need to be a page for the random encounters that can happen in skyrim, similar to Red Dead Redemption.RIM 19:08, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
We could just put a few pages on the main page instead of "Activities." Crafting/Gathering, Jobs, and Interactions. we would probably need a miscellaneous gameplay section too, for mechanics like sleeping. --Xainiax 10:39, 12 November 2011 (UTC)

Also, with hide and seek and tag, an objective appears saying "find X" which likely means that other mini-games and activities have objective markers of some sort which should make it easier to define actual activities.RIM 22:20, 5 November 2011 (UTC)

Artificer[edit]

I've enchanted an item, crafted many things, and have yet to make a potion, but when I cooked a goat leg, I got the achievement, along with Hard Worker. Apparently cooked items count as potions? --RandomPlayer268 22:31, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

Yes, this has been the case for me in different playthroughs as well. I've added a note about it to the achievement section of this article. ABCface 18:45, 10 May 2012 (UTC)

Move World Interactions Link?[edit]

Should we move the 'World Interactions' link to the 'Activities' page? Right now it's under 'Miscellaneous Quests' on the 'Quests' page. We already have an 'Interactions' section on the 'Activities' page, and most of the interactions available in Skyrim happen independent of specific quests. I think that a person looking for the list of world interactions from the main Skyrim page would be more likely to look under 'Activities' than 'Quests'. Chocoholic (talk) 02:43, 22 June 2014 (GMT)
