The Emperor Crab Guardian Spirit is a unique creature encountered during the Wave Breaker quest. It is too large to be harmed by normal means, but can be defeated by firing catapults at it using the flaming pots collected by the frenzied mudcrabs from the wrecked wagon.

- The Emperor Crab Guardian Spirit is inspired by the Giant Mudcrab originally developed as part of the Game Jam and featured in Todd Howard's keynote address at DICE 2012.
- From behind, the crab's shell resembles the Redoran-style houses seen in Raven Rock. House Redoran have been known historically to use the shells of Emperor Crabs in their architecture.
- Technically, this is not a true creature, but more similar to scenery.
