Shivering talk:Door to Cyrodiil

I think this page might benefit from the addition of a picture of the door from the Cyrodiil side.

Would it serve some purpose to give the RedID for the doors? 78C6C for the Door to the Hearland, 133BD for the Door to the Fringe. It can be used for quick teleportation to thanks to Player.MoveTo. The interest of that door is that going through it sets a certain number of variables that other means of teleportation between SEWorld and Tamriel do not. So when you get things like the "I HAVE NO GREETING" bug, making a quick trip to the door is the only way to fix the game. --Gez 11:49, 2 March 2008 (EST)

Yeah... I'd forgotten about those ids. I was thinking that this page should be split into two: this page and Oblivion:A Strange Door (which already exists but redirects here) so that the correct id can go on each page. We tend to use EditorIds for coc rather than RefIds for Player.MoveTo though. –RpehTCE 05:41, 3 March 2008 (EST)

Bug[edit]

(moved from the article)

Sometimes, it will be labeled as an ayleid ruin on your map. This typically happens upon completion of the quest Retaking The Fringe. However it should return as a landmark upon completion of the Shivering Isles main questline.

Doesn't seem likely. Icons are fixed in the CS and never change. rpeh •TCE 09:45, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
Actually, this does happen. After The Fringe is taken over by order, the map symbol changes to that of an ayleid ruin. It does not change back untill completion of the main storyline, when the fringe is restored. 86.182.82.206 21:02, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
Actually, if you look in the CS, The Fringe has 2 different maps. This is to avoid conflicts with the Ordering and Re-Maddening of the entire area. This is also why your Map Markers disappear when you must Retake the Fringe. The note is already on that quest page. --DKong27 Talk Cont 22:11, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
Indeed, I was wrong here. The two versions have different icons, and the Ordered version is the only place that uses an Ayleid icon. rpeh •TCE 07:28, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
Would it be a good idea to add the information to this page as well? I would do it myself but I don't know how. 109.158.221.240 15:55, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
