"Some believe..."?[edit]

I'd like to support this article as an FA, but the last line is a drawback for me. "Some believe"? Who? Is it a speculation by people in-game, or by players of the game? Either way, I think that needs to be reworded, else it detracts from the professional quality of the article. Unfortunately, I don't know enough about the game to determine the answer to my question, so hopefully someone else can... --GKtalk2me 03:05, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

To answer Guildknight's question. It's most likely a educated observation but we cant be sure as the game does not say so we cant say its canon. And even if the creatures were in fact,Falmer, if would be hard to confirm due to the lack of knowledge about Falmer lore and the many theories on Falmer. I have also noticed that the only recorded presences of the Falmer were on Solstheim and Skyrim, thus the only way they could have gotten to High Rock was if a small splinter cell was displaced by the Nords and then migrated eastward in search of a new home. To me the ice warriors look as if they are some cross between orc and elf so it is highly unlikely that the ice warriors are Falmer.Kinvalor75 23:34, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
I can't tell whether Kinvalor is assuming it's an "educated observation" or if he's saying that it's a fact that "the game does not say." In the meantime, I've reworded the sentence to simply pointing out the observation of similarity instead of suggesting a relationship between the two. --GKtalk2me 18:39, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
Well guildknight its kind of both Kinvalor75 19:12, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
I think the way GK has rewritten it works well. This is one case where an out-of-game reference is really needed - the speculation that falmer = Glacier Crawl residents is all out of game but it's quite important speculation (for once). rpeh •TCE 19:26, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
