The Desperate Husband

Branson is imprisoned in one of the cells northeast of the door to Ghast's Pass. Upon starting a conversation he will express his joy at being rescued but insist that he cannot leave. The bandits in the citadel captured his family and he came after them hoping to find some clue as to their whereabouts: until he finds some information he will stay where he is:

"I can scarcely believe my good fortune with your rescue, but I came here trying to find my family."

Your family? Here?

"Not here, but the thieves who took them are here. I am hoping to find some clue as to their whereabouts."

Ah.

"If you could find such a thing and bring it back to me, it would make the miracle complete."

I accept!

The citadel of Broken Wing is a long way from Dragonstar and he is momentarily downcast before squaring his shoulders, pursing his lips and setting off to find his family:

Branson stares at the map for a few moments, then mutters,

I am off then. Your help was vital."

He exits the cell to go look for his family.
