Some quick / crummy notes[edit]

Return Frandar's Scrolls

For Frandar Hunding's scrolls the order is based upon the references to the Tamrielic months in referred to in each scroll.

-Frandar Hunding-
The scrolls speak of the principles of Wisdom, Discipline, Sacrifice, and Devotion, and the seasons of life in which I mastered these principles.
Place them in the proper order in which they were mastered.

With the persuasion skill, you can ask Frandar for a hint.

[PERSUADE] I'm here to cleanse the Temple. You could at least give me a hint.

Frandar Hunding's response

Look to the passing of time, to the order of the sun, stars, and moon for understanding.

From left to right, the placement is:

  • Scroll of Discipline (Rain's Hand)
  • Scroll of Devotion (Sun's Height)
  • Scroll of Wisdom (Hearth's Fire)
  • Scroll of Sacrifice (Frost's Fall)
Light the Braziers in the Proper Colors

The colors are misleading because two are identical. This quest is also problematic for players with color blindness. Fortunately, you can simply set the braziers according to the shape each color represents.

From shrine, the two right-side braziers should be an image of "kneeling," and then "pointing" at the far brazier.

The two left-side braziers should be "open arms welcome," and then "the knight."

Once all four statues are correct, the screen will white out, and the path will be open.
