Unique Creature?[edit]

Previously this page stated that the creature 'Senche' only ever appeared spotted. However, I have experienced firsthand a black 'Senche'. If this is the case, there's really nothing distinguishing this creature from the Senche-Tiger. The name confusion will be further compounded by the 'Striped Senche-Panther' pet being introduced in 1.6. Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do? I feel like the Senche and Senche-Tiger pages should be merged, but I don't know which one should take precedent as the page name. Which one is less common? —Legoless (talk) 01:23, 28 January 2015 (GMT)

I was the one who made the edit about senche only being spotted because of my experience with the games; whenever I saw a creature called "Senche" with a black one next to it, the black one was always a Senche-Tiger. But yeah, they're basically identical creatures; they just have different names. I agree that they should be merged (with Senche-Tiger being a redirect). As far as the name, I'm leaning toward just plain "Senche", even though "Senche-Tiger" is by far the most common. There's creatures just called Senche, there's Senche-Tigers, there's the Senche-Panther pet, and then in the Hero's Guides to the Elder Scrolls Online there's a creature called a Senche-Lion. (Creatures called "Senche-Lions" don't appear in the game, but there's just plain lions, and I think two such lions are at Sleepy Senche Overlook. And there's a white lion called The Pale Senche in the game too.) I think that just having a general "Senche" page describing the different types would be best. - Alarra (talk) 02:21, 28 January 2015 (GMT)
I agree with Alarra. --Vordur Steel-Hammer (TINV1K) 02:23, 28 January 2015 (GMT)

Senche and Senche-Tiger[edit]

I know that these two names refer to pretty much the same creature in game, but is it possible to just have the "Senche" infobox without the other? It seems to be doing something strange to the infobox template, with the "needs image" being placed there when there clearly is an image already. Contraptions (talk) 16:29, 16 January 2016 (UTC)

I think it should stay, but obviously {{NPC Summary Multi}} doesn't work with the ESO template. —Legoless (talk) 16:42, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
Per the documentation of NPC Summary Multi, any included Summaries still need to say image=none to suppress the Image Needed banner. --Enodoc (talk) 22:18, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
